We had 94 points with 4:57 left in the game, and scored our last points with 1:35 left in the game and still won. It was a pretty bad 4th quarter for us.

But we have had plenty of games the season where we couldn't score down the stretch. I hope it doesn't continue!

Well as we Suns fans know
That's been time for CP3 to hit those timely jumpers. What I found funny, well not at the time is that we were running our usual 4th quarter set with the DA high PnR where CP3 would snake his way to a jumper. He had no intention of shooting though so not surprised our execution wasn't the best.

What is up with this? Monty needs to put up these headlines in the locker room:

"NBA playoffs, betting odds, picks: Why LeBron James' Lakers won't lose Game 2 to Chris Paul's Suns" https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba- ... auls-suns/

"How to bet Lakers vs. Suns Game 2: Why you should bet on LeBron, Lakers" https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nba/l ... int-spread

Are the Lakers the Champions of Old, or Old Champions:

Anyone know the refs for tonight and each team's record with them officiating?

https://official.nba.com/referee-assignments/

Zach Zarba, Tre Maddox, Mitchell Ervin, and Brian Forte

Believe Maddox was one of the refs that was mentioned to favor the Lakers in that Warriors-Lakers game. Actually think it might have been that he just was an anti-Warriors guy

thanks. Can't seem to find any free source of outcomes per team based on ref...

Ya, bbref has their overall record with each individual team...but that spans their whole career and isn’t helpful for recent trends.

This account is probably your best bet, but they haven’t tweeted anything yet about tonight’s game

yeah I follow them, but didn't see anything yet. I kind of wanted to have a few hours to prepare myself mentally when I read 15-2 for the Lakers or 3-14 against the Suns or whatever it is.

I did see this, so maybe we are setting a new trend:

I don't understand the idea that the Suns need it more. From my perspective, Suns are more likely to win the series if it is 1-1 than the Lakers are if they are 0-2. I see this as a good-to-win game for the Suns, and almost a must-win game for the Lakers.

Losing this game gives LA home court advantage, makes it a 5 game series, and gives back any ground you gained by winning game 1. You don't do that to LeBron.

The Suns have the best road record in the NBA, though, so I think we will win at least one game in LA. That would mean the Lakers have to win at least two games in Phoenix.

Zach Zarba rings a bell as someone who hates the Suns.

I feel like if I know a ref's name, it is for a reason and it isn't a positive omen. I know 2 of the 3 without having to look them up at all.

Zarba's favorite TV show is The Wire, and fav movie is The Godfather. Let's just say he is into organized crime...

All time the suns have a better win% when zarba is an official over any of the other 3...of course he’s been a ref longer(since 03-04) so he reffed us more during our good years.

Our worst win% is with Mitchell Ervin...but it’s only like 15 games and he’s only been a ref since 14-15...so when we were awful.

We are surprisingly only a game under .500 with Tre Maddox and his first year reffing is ‘10-‘11, so that’s an impressive record during our awful decade of basketball.

I have never been so stressed for a game in my life...I think being there in person is making this 10X worse, haha. For my sake, we need to win this one!

My gut is telling me that the series will be 2-2 after four games. That's when we'll really need the homecourt advantage, in game 5.
