The series changed game 4 when the refs started letting both teams play. They called everything in games 2 and 3. They let a lot of contact go in games 4-6. That benefitted the suns. That and AD not playing of course.

WHEW, what a win! I haven't been this pumped about the Suns since I can't remember. So proud of our guys. Second half got scary; the Lakers came out with a ton of energy and adrenaline. I liked the adjustments they tried to make, trying different guys on us like Gasol and Kuzma, as well as going with an all-small lineup at the end so that Ayton couldn't as easily set screens (since his man, Lebron, would just switch them). Smart coaching, and they almost came all the way back. God, if I never see that fucker Schroder again it'll be too soon. He is so pesky and annoying. Got his hands on so many balls and came up with steals and deflections.

Booker obviously was amazing for us tonight. But I thought Crowder had a really awesome game, too. Hit 6-9 3-pointers for 18 points, got 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, and generally played tough defense on Lebron all night. Got into Lebron's head and frustrated him. Matched his strength and will. I feel like he has completely earned his contract with the tough gritty veteran play he's given us in this series. You couldn't consistently turn to Mikal Bridges or Cam Johnson for play like we got from Crowder in this series.

Chris Paul's numbers don't just jump off the stat sheet: 8 points, 12 assists. But he made some huge plays when we really needed a basket, and he generally just controlled the flow of the game. Without him you can just feel our offense having a bad flow or tempo to it. He understands the game. I thought he played great tonight, a smart and heady veteran game from him.

I thought Cam Johnson had a really impressive game, too. 10 points and hit a couple of big 3s, including one late when the Lakers were starting to claw their way back in it. I like how he's working to become more versatile; he had some drives and passes and other plays, not just spotting up for 3s all night.

SO PROUD and happy for our guys! Sent the phony "goat" packing in the 1st round and beat the defending champs. You can't ask for better than that. Wow.
