All 3 other semifinals series are now going at least 6 games, while the Suns just rest up and wait.

How do we all feel about the Clippers???
Their offense isn’t great either. Just a lot of one on one and then passing out to the three point line.

NBA finally looking at a rule change for all these flail and shoot fouls. It’s about time.
Bad news for Jae Crowder.
It won’t be instituted until next season after our championship.

Yep, nice to see all other series knotted up at 2-2 while we rest.

Would much rather play the jazz than the clippers.

I am starting to worry that we are getting too complacent as fans and wonder if the same is true of the players, too.

Would DA have an easier time or tougher time against a small ball Clippers team?

Maybe they would have to adapt to him? He does a relatively good job of defending smaller players.

Well there's no way Morris could guard DA near the rim and they'd have to gang rebound around him to keep him off the boards. But Morris would draw DA outside with his shot at times. I'm not as concerned about him as a dribble drive threat.

I think if properly engaged, Ayton could punish small ball, at least on the offensive glass.

I do worry that the clippers switching defense is probably the best counter to our offense. Need Ayton to punish them so they have to play Zubac.

Paul is one of the last players still around from his draft class. Not only is he still playing, he's gonna get ANOTHER huge contract.

Remember when it was actually a debate between Chris Paul and Deron Williams?

Ayton is probably going to be less effective in the next series than he's been in the last two. He was great against AD and Jokic. That's a near perfect scenario for Ayton, an opposing team with an offensively talented center who he can try to neutralize. He has a really rough time against Gobert since Gobert's impact is defensive. Gobert's length has always really bothered Ayton. And the Clips will just play smallball which will reduce Ayton's effectiveness. Ayton can guard smaller players, but he doesn't use his size to get an advantage on offense, so the Clips won't be punished for playing small.

First match of the season against Utah, DA struggled a lot, but not the following 2, his boxscore is pretty similar to Gobert's (and his +/- were -1, +15 and +17).
Against LA, we need our backcourt to step up, wich they will, more than DA. But I'm still not used to "playoff DA", I'm eager to see what will be his attitude against smaller competition.

I think it was just from folks that don't watch basketball, but do check out box scores. Williams was averaging over 10 apg for a long time while in Utah, but we all know Utah score keepers and their history with assists. Once he left there, his assists fell off a ton despite similar minutes per game, usage, etc.

Reminds you of another comparison that Utah seems to try to push and claim their guy is better.

Ya, the counting stats were similar, but Paul wiped the floor with DWill in advanced stats

I always think about that. Paul probably would thrive under Jerry Sloan. Why they chose Williams is a mistery to me.

Maybe, much like Book, he made it clear he didn't want to play for Utah.
