We should have re-signed Craig. No to the brick laying Justise Winslow, R. Hollis-jefferson, and Stanley - who among them has a salvageable shot?
Gay is gone.
Milsap probably won’t take what we have to offer.
Iggy maybe would he good to have on hand. But he’s probably not gonna win you any games at this point.
Mills is still the top of my list.
He’s guaranteed to win you 3-5 games this year.
Is Dieng gettable?

Hopping between threads but I shared my thoughts on centers
Gay would have been solid too

I copied this since last night so few guys are gone now. Still can use another scorer/creator

George Hill is a free agent. He’d be a good 5th guard.

So currently we are:

Paul, Payne, open spot
Booker, Shamet, open spot
Bridges, Johnson, open spot
Crowder, open spot, Saric
Ayton, McGee, Smith

Alexander on a 2-way, so 1 extra 2-way.

To me the backup 4 is the most important hole to fill. If the 5 million to McGee is accurate, we’ve got about 4.7 million of the MLE left to spend, I’d give that to Millsap.

Then you’ve got 3 more roster spots to fill with 2 Vet-Min contracts and the BAE.

At 3rd string pg I’d look at Raul Neto, Shabazz Napier, Chris Chiozza or Saben Lee.

At 3rd string sg I’d look at E’Twaun Moore, Langston Galloway, Jordan McRae, Tyler Johnson, or Alonzo Trier

At 3rd string sf I’d look at Issac Bonga, Abdel Nader, Justise Winslow, Stanley Johnson, Denzel Valentine, Andre Iguodala, or Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot

I’d still welcome Jarred Vanderbilt as a 4/5 too.

Mills went to LAL too.
I want us to add a piece that is a little more exciting than who we have. Sure, we’re better. But by how much in comparison to LAL?

For the 3rd string SG spot, I would sign Oladipo.

Did Mills go to LA? I hadn’t heard that, but that’s a really good pickup if so.

Think he’ll want somewhere that will have more minutes for him. But I’d take him if he wants to come.

If he can get healthy by the playoffs he could become a big contributor for us. But yeah he would have to want to come here.

I think Winslow is a worthy reclamation project. We need a big wing. He was awful last year, but he was coming back from a serious injury. He’s not far removed from really intriguing 2-way ball.

Mills to LAL breaks my heart. I was hoping I could stop rooting against him.

I can’t find the link to article I read. I think i was duped! Maybe there’s a chance?! I kinda doubt he wants to be here given what happened to Galloway and Moore in the rotation.

Yeeeesssss
Although I'm nervous I might have some early battles with Saucy about Smith
Glad to see Nader's back to keep his attention a bit :)

Looks like just above his minimum:

Minimum for Nader is $1.79 million, or about 1.9 per for a 2 year contract.

I like Nader, glad he's back cheap. Another guy who knows his role, plays hard, can slash to the basket.
