Siakam's contract makes it pretty difficult for the Suns to make a deal for him this summer.

Yes that’s true…think you’d have to send out Saric, Crowder, Smith, and Cam to get the salaries to match.

Wouldn't want to get rid of Crowder he is a great locker room guy and one of our key motivators for the team. He brings a winning attitude and makes everyone better on almost every team he has been on cough not Cavs cough.

First Willie, now Bower.

His quote sounds like we fired him. No?

Maybe to make room for Paul's extension? :P

I could be misremembering, but wasn't Bower's reported role to be a mentor for James Jones?

James Jones just won Executive of the Year, so would it not make sense that Bower's job is complete? And I'd be surprised if he doesn't desire another chance to run a team himself.

You make a lot of sense.

“It’s hard to process right now,” Williams said. “It’s hard.”

Yes, it is. But there are victories to celebrate. From a community perspective, the Suns rekindled a powerful force. After 10 years of dysfunction and apathy, they have restored the roar. They unleashed the best new home-court advantage in the NBA.

This new generation of Suns fans represents the future of Phoenix. The audience is young, passionate and diverse. They are white, Black and Latino, a coalition that combined to create incredible energy inside Footprint Center. They affirm to all of us that a multicultural tapestry in Arizona is something to embrace and not fear. And most of it occurred before Phoenix Suns Arena sold naming rights before its final home game of the season, adding a symbolic level of innocence and purity to the story.

The Suns also gave the Valley a tremendous diversion. Following a traumatic 2020 marked by a pandemic, political rancor and racial division, the Suns galvanized the community. They gave us a reason to scream together, not at one another.

He's trying to make up for his previous stupid takes, then getting called out for it by booker and paul in the finals.

Well Duane Rankin is the Suns beat writer and he can't even write a grammatically correct sentence. So I guess the Republic's standards are not exceedingly high.

I think Rankin is very good. Of all the local folks writing stories about the Suns, my top 3 Gina, Kellan, and Rankin. I think Gina is excellent at the human interest aspect. Kellan is great at the X/Os. And Duane is very good at getting honest, direct answers from players/staff.

He is the guy that got "next question" from book and paul when he asked how disappointing it must be for Book to not win games for Paul.

He's also this guy. Hard to take a reporter seriously when they're asking these types of questions.
