It's not surprising - his shot selection turns to shit in those situations.

That is interesting. So he is even worse in the 4th quarter.

Now do his percentages on 2 for 1 shots...
With 27 to 34 seconds left in a quarter, he was 1/11 (9.1%) in the playoffs. Overall in the last two years, he was 18/68 (26.5%).
No stat has ever matched the eye-test more than this.

I think I could hit some of these three pointers Team USA is missing in the first half.

Booker's been a mixed bag so far. Attacking and moving the ball well, but having a hard time finishing. Also lost his man on D for back-cuts a few times.

Partially his fault, but that's also more likely to happen when their defensive strategy is to switch everything like it has been for most of the game so far.

It's pretty clear Team USA needs to stop settling for 3's. Just because it's an open shot doesn't make it a good shot.

No coincidence the Spanish lead evaporated once guys started going hard to the rim.

This is starting to look like the Slovenia/Spain game. Spain played really tough with a lot of energy and then suddenly looked really tired once their shots stopped falling.

Middleton and Tatum are ghosts right now. I don't think Pop can leave them in for long in the 4th.

These refs are being very friendly to Spain in the 4th quarter. Gifted them three touch fouls in a row.

I wonder if Rubio would shoot like this if he wore his Spain uniform under his NBA uniform every game.

Spain ran out of gas except for Rubio. They couldn't keep any of their big guys on the court for very long and their coach caved to the pressure of matching Team USA's smaller lineup.

International play Rubio is something else…Booker with 9/9/5/3 and 0 turnovers. Think I saw a team high +\- as well.

You can see replays here if you login with your provider. I'm using a Dish account with a VPN and it's been much better than bootleg streams.

I'm pretty certain Team USA will be playing in the later semifinal on Thursday that starts at 9:00PM JST. That'll be Thursday, 8AM EST stateside.
