The Lakers will certainly be interesting to watch this season.

Somebody tweeted out “The Maxspendables.” Fuck the Lakers. There’s a good chance they’re just unhealthy and feuding all season long. Suns or Nuggets will bounce them out of whatever round they end up in.

How are the Lakers allowed to have 26 players on their roster?

They were down to like 4 before free agency.

Nunn is a solid addition. Lakers are doing ok.

There might be a championship level rotation on their squad now but I doubt their aging vets will allow for it to come to fruition.

So rough for Drummond he takes a 1yr deal and to back up "his good buddy"....

Tsk Tsk

That's make it much easier for Embiid to check on his real estate.

I would prefer him over Millsap. But he makes $14M, so we would need for him to get bought out.

Wow nice. Glad for Kemba, hope he's healthy and can help them. Big move getting him on the cheap.

I hope they didn't reward him with too big of a buyout then since he's turning around and signing with another team right away.

I feel bad for Kemba. He was a talented starting PG, but now injuries seem to have derailed his career. I hope he finds his way back.

It feels like the Lakers are just throwing guys together. There's a lot of talent gathering on their roster, but the fit is the big question. With Melo and Monk on the roster they are starting to look like a deep team. They're lucky that so many guys are willing to sign there for under their market value. Age and injuries could take a toll on them; any assumption that they'll be a deep playoff team relies on guys like Lebron and AD staying healthy, which is not a given.
