Game 2/4 of the Suns preseason schedule. The old-timer all-stars come to Phoenix to take on the Suns. I believe Book is still out but Paul and Crowder might get some time. This is an early afternoon game.

Go Suns!!!

There are a combined 13 players over 30 years of age between these teams. (Suns 3, Lakers 10)

I'm putting the over/under for the number of 30+ year old players who get minutes in this game at 2.5.

Monty said CP and Jae will play tonight...figured they'd play the 2nd and 4th game so we'll see.

As old as the Lakers are, I worry about the overall size and against us.

I don't understand how the Suns and Lakers can play on the Mercury's court. Are they going to count WNBA threes as threes?

If anyone would like free tickets to the Merc game tonight, let me know. I was hoping I could go, but I cannot. So I have 4 tickets together on the aisle.

Let's smash the Lakers. I know it's preseason, but fuck the Lakers forever!

This actually feels like a real NBA game (in October) so far.

Listening to Al McCoy now in his 50th season as the play-by-play voice of the Suns.

Solid start for both teams. Our starters look like they're picking up where they left off, minus Book. Shamet looking strong offensively again, real nice pass along the baseline to a cutting Bridges.

DA missed a bunny against AD, still just too soft. The effort's been there tho. Nice lob from CP too who looks sharp.

I don't know if it's one game or the beginning of a new normal, but the officials are letting Ayton play defense like a guy who's earned some credibility.

These Lakers TV guys suck. Malik Monk has 3 seconds to dribble and reset himself on a wide open three pointer. Their reaction, "Incredible!".

Obviously Lebron and Westbrook are huge contributors, but this Lakers team still doesn't have any shooting besides Monk and he's too hot and cold from night to night.

Unrelated, does Anthony Davis look a little overweight to anyone else?
