Walton out as Kings head coach.

No surprise.

39-4 (.907) as an Assistant Coach filling in as the Head Coach for the Warriors.
166-241 (.408) as Head Coach with the Lakers and Kings

Just a hunch that the Warriors record might have been from the personnel, not his coaching.

Kings once had a decent coach, Mike Malone, and canned him.
He's doing quite well with the Nuggets ...

Too often coaches are judged by W/L record rather than how much they got out of the personnel available. It works both was - You get a coach like Luke Walton (Warriors) or Paul Westhead (Lakers) who are handed championship talent with little pressure on them and if they keep the team from capsizing they get rewarded, sometimes is excess of their ability.

The fans were chanting for his ouster last night. They got it the next morning.

What does that say about Kerr?

Well, I think you saw what kind of coach he was the last couple of years when they didn't have the personnel.

The jury is still out.

I think Marion has an argument for top-75, ultimately I’d probably leave him off as I think most these guys played more crucial roles for their teams. You add up all the contributions and Marion’s career looks fantastic and holds up very well from an advanced stats perspective. Just never was a top 10 guy at any point in his career. Could never be a 1st option and I’d guess most of these guys on the list were.

He doesn’t deserve it more than Pau or Jokic or Klay.

Hmm, not really trying to make an argument for him, but I do think he and Klay are close. I could hear an argument either way. Pau is above Marion for sure. Dwight Howard is the biggest snub imo. As for Jokic, he’s clearly headed for a better career than all these guys, but it’s just a little strange to put him in already. I don’t have a problem with him in as he’s clearly been one of the best 75 players(at their prime) but I’m fine also letting him play out his career.

How many active players under 30 made it? I’m assuming Giannis. Did Kawhi? Is he under 30?

WTF did I just watch? I've liked what I've seen from Stewart so far in his career, but that was a completely unnecessary reaction.

Probably multi-game suspension coming. No replay I can find of the shot that got LeBron ejected and Stewart bloodied though. At least his temper wasn't without instigation.

Looks like a cheap shot to me. Wondering if any suspensions are coming for LeBron.

Yeah, LeBron deserves some blame for that. He clocked him pretty good, but to his credit, he seemed to try to calm Stewart's reaction. Not sure that's worth much though.
