Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Post by Mori Chu »

I wish everyone a wonderful day full of happiness and loved ones. Santa seems to have come to our house last night and laid out approximately one million presents for our kids. Best wishes and MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone in our little Phx-Suns.net family!

Let me know in the replies a cool present you / somebody in your family got, or something special that has happened for you and your family today. Pics are also welcome :)

Merry Christmas everyone. I'm working today and my 3 month old granddaughter is in the hospital with RSV. I'm thankful for the reason we celebrate Christmas, but its kind of a strange day for me and my family. Hope you all enjoy your Christmas and give your loved ones a hug.

I have to work too tonight and I have a cold. That should help my singing a lot. Not! I was worried it might be Covid again but the test came back negative so that’s something.

Santa brought me a new PS5. Muhahaha!

Merry Christmas everyone! Go Suns!

The easiest way for me to watch games in China is on this Tencent service which has exclusive online rights with the NBA. Their own Chinese commentary is something awful but a few years ago I managed to convince them to also run the English commentary as an alternative option. Last year with the Morey comment on HK and this year with the Enes Freedom tweets Tencent has taken out the English commentary for fear of seeing some pro HK or Tibet/Xinjiang banners in the crowd. As a basketball fan this has been immensely frustrating. But recently they brought back English commentary during live games, and I am thankful for that. It has substantially improved my quality of life.

Of course as soon as I type that I turn on the second half to the national broadcasters making excuses for the Warriors’ injuries and covid absences.

Merry Christmas all! Thanks for running the site, Marty. Probably my favorite gift was my Spock socks with his ears sticking out on the sides of my legs. That or my vintage Michael Jordan #23 jacket. I'm thankful for all of you to talk to about our favorite team. I'm also happy to have shared the holidays with my sons. I also got to spend some quality time with my brother and his wife. I'm also very thankful for my recovery and health.

SRI, sorry you had to work today and I'm wishing for the best for your granddaughter. You too 'Dack having to work today with a cold. I hope you feel better soon.

We had a great year as Suns fans. Here's to an even greater year in 2022!

I got that one from my AP Geometry teacher in high school.
He had a daily pun/brain teaser on the corner of the chalkboard.

I don’t get that joke. Is it some cultural reference I’m missing? Also don’t get the Noel and Yule ones … I get the pun on Yule but does Yule mean something specific besides sounding like you’ll?
