Allowing a 3rd guard instead of Wiggins really would’ve solved the problem here

Or even just the top 10 regardless of conference or position, you know, like a vote is supposed to work.

All-Star starter Andrew Wiggins? That's just stupid.

I read that there's a lot of speculation that Curry has a hand injury that he hasn't told people about. When asked directly about it, he defers and doesn't say one way or the other. Seems likely that something is up given the unnaturally poor shooting he's had lately.

This is kinda funny…I’m not actually upset we didn’t get a starter as Ja has been amazing and Curry has been a lock since week 1, but I’d be in favor of changing the I system. I think players and media would have voted strongly for Book or Paul over Wiggins if they could pick a 3rd guard.

I’d say just pick the best 5…I could also go for 1 guard, 1 wing, 1 big and 2 wildcards.

Curry has been a lock since week 1
He is shooting <.42 on the year. The only season he has had worse than this was the season he only played 5 games.

Over the last month, he is shooting 37%, and 32% from 3.

It's only that he set the all-time 3 point shots made record this season. There's a strong argument that Green is the MVP of that team.

The problem is that the NBA All-Star Game is a hybrid of award for the best players and popularity contest.

Fans are going to vote for the stars they want to see, whether they deserve it or not. Otherwise Klay Thompson wouldn't have gotten a single vote. But there's really no defined criteria for playing in the game, and teams actively encourage to vote for the local players, so that's what we get in the fan vote. Statistically between the two Curry has a very small statistical edge, but it's really a toss up who deserves to go.

Golden State fans just did a better job of stuff the ballot box (Wiggins, Thompson) than the Suns did in voting for their deserving players (Paul, Booker).

Oh I know, I almost included a “even if he shouldn’t be” after calling him a lock. But basically once the warriors showed they were for real and Curry could play at 80% of his prime, he was a lock. Fans love Curry, media love Curry. There was zero chance of him not being a starter.

We already know that Arizona doesn't cheat when voting. Many times over. :)

Mr. Polarizing

High Usage Russ will always have his moments but he's never gonna get to play this way with LeBron (especially as he's so interested in chasing Kareem.......)

I would not count out a healthy Lebron, AD and Russ. If they get hot at the right time, they can beat anyone.
