ESPN Power Rankings

1. Phoenix Suns
2021-22 record: 36-9
Previous ranking: 1

One of the biggest beneficiaries of the 10-day hardship contracts this season has been veteran big man Bismack Biyombo. In eight games with Phoenix, Biyombo is averaging 10.1 points and 6.9 rebounds on 70.2% shooting. On Saturday night, the 29-year-old Biyombo tied his career high with 21 points and chipped in 13 rebounds in the Suns' win over the Pacers. -- Lopez

1. Phoenix Suns Record: 36-9
Preseason wins projection: 51-31
Current wins projection: 61-21
Overachieving, underachieving or right on track: Right on track

Coming off of their NBA Finals appearance, it would have been fair to expect this phenomenal play from the Suns. Their balance, depth and continuity on both ends makes them a strong contender to repeat as the West Champions. After a slow 1-3 start, they have rolled off 34 wins in their next 40 games, which has included a franchise-best 18-game win streak.

I may or may not be hearing that Jae Crowder did in fact hurt his wrist but may not have hurt his wrist, in the end this will work out as a blessing or a curse, patience is key and time will tell, the situation is still fluid or stagnant! Remember Suns fans, never forget to put the toilet seat back down, put the fork to the right of the plate, and Suns fans do not listen to the haters in your life! Trust me, I call into a radio show so I may know but may not know it’s fluid!

FLEX is worthy of the clowning he gets here a lot of the time, but at least for me, this is the first I’ve read that it was aggravating an existing injury.

Exactly.

Flex is a clown AND provided new information. It is OK for both to be true.

That tweet supports the theory that Flex gets his info from CP3's camp. He mentions that CP3 knew about the injury right away. How would Flex have heard that? Most likely, from CP3 himself or from his camp.

I don't think forks care! Nor do I believe that there are left handed forks. I have a Nigerian friend with an english accent. He once asked for some cutlery at a restaurant. The server didn't understand. So my friend says, "a fork 'n knife." The server said, "I'll get you a knife but you don't have to swear at me!"

Honestly this helps to evaluate how we’d handle an injury to our backcourt. Can Shamet or Payton step up or do we need to make a move before the deadline.

And FLEX says that they'll need rest in order to heal.

Damn. They usually prescribe 72 hours of straight strip clubs on shrooms. I'm sure Payne is bummed.
