This Week's Games
Game 69: Tue, Mar 15, 2022 8:00PM ET @ New Orleans Pelicans
Game 70: Wed, Mar 16, 2022 8:00PM ET @ Houston Rockets
Game 71: Fri, Mar 18, 2022 10:00PM ET vs. Chicago Bulls
Game 72: Sun, Mar 20, 2022 6:00PM ET vs. Sacramento Kings
Should be a 4-0 week. Bulls game is the only questionable one…though I kinda worry about the rockets game. It’s 2nd night of a back to back and they are young and put up a lot of 3s…if they hit them we could be in for a battle.

I'm super excited to see what Lundberg can do. It's pretty rare to add someone with his supposed clout this late in the season.

I was assuming that we just signed him because he was on a Russian team, and we were trying to make a pro-Ukraine statement or something. Is this a guy who might actually get minutes?

He’s been called the top international free agent and a player that’s been talked about coming over to the nba for a bit. But it feels more like a move for next year, especially with him not coming for a couple weeks while he gets a visa.

Eventually we will need a CP3 replacement. This may be a move for the future(?)

Here are a couple of Lundberg videos. First, a sizzle reel from his time at CSKA Moscow, if you want to think he's the second coming of Steph Curry crossed with Kevin Durant:
And here's a clip from a Suns Geek podcast discussing him as an addition for the Suns:

If he sticks, we may have just become the favorite nba team of every basketball fan in Denmark as well…that’s always good

I'm not sure. I'm a little iffe on whether he'll stick or not.
The worst consecutive 12 game stretch for the suns this year is 8-4…we’re 7-4 without CP3 so far. I saw this stat awhile ago and everyone else had a 12 game stretch of at least 6-6…and there was only a couple teams that were even that good.
Another stat, we’re 26-6 when all 3 of Book, DA, and CP3 play. That includes the 1-3 start, so we’re 25-3 since then with our top 3.
We are also 26-6 on the road. We still have a chance to set the all time road record, but we’d have to go 9-0. If we go 8-1 we tie the 15-16 Warriors at 34-7. By percentage, we’re on pace for 33-8 which would be 3rd best all time. We do still have some tough road games left:
B2B @Minny and then @Denver
@GS
@Mem
@Utah
Based on our history, we’re really going to want those GS and Memphis games as we lost to them the last time we played(lost our last 2 to GS). We also lost our last one to Utah too, so we’ll want that one as well.

Thanks Split, super interesting stats. I don't really think they will go 9-0 nor 8-1 on the road to finish out the season; that's asking a lot, especially given the strength of the opponents, and given the likelihood that we'll have locked up the #1 seed and may not give full effort in our last few games (if Monty knows what to do).
