All I'm trying to say is that a guy off of the street doesn't guarantee better results. Is Burke a better dribbler than Okogie, yeah, obviously. But what difference will it make if the defender wins anyway?

There's a lot of frustration from the lack of roster moves, I get it. Just try to not let it color everything that happens on the court. This isn't NBA2K.
Doesn’t guarantee it, but we really needed someone who could beat the pressure. We didn’t have anyone that could. Burke would’ve been a better option.
I think Andrew Wiggins is the decider in this situation, not Trey Burke or whoever the Suns had handling the ball.
I think the argument is that we have a much better chance with Burke or Kemba to bring the ball up and beat the defensive pressure than trusting Craig or Okogie in crucial minutes.
It’s also not just dribbling. Good initiators can break the press with their passing. Craig and Okogie can’t dribble or pass against pressure.
Yep, watching Lee, Okogie, and Craig in those final minutes was comically bad. You can’t tell me there isn’t someone out there we could sign to a 10 day that could at least help in that area while most of team is in the infirmary.

Warriors did a lot to attack and pressure our initiators and ball handlers. I was super impressed by the suns and all their second chance efforts. Keep it up boys. JJ deserves no credit with this win. This roster needs help.

I was surprised to see Kris Dunn is playing in the G League right now. Combo guard, good defender. Never could stay healthy. He is shooting the ball well so far, which was also one of the knocks on him.

Chris Chiozza gave Brooklyn solid minutes at the one in the playoffs a season or two ago; he's out there.

They definitely need a warm body, but please don't get your hopes up that whoever it is will actually be good.

Yep, that's the argument. My side is that is that "much better chance" is making a lot of assumptions because Kemba Walker is healthy enough to play like twice a month and Trey Burke hasn't played real NBA minutes in almost a year.
I mean kemba just scored 32 last month, so not that crazy of an assumption as you seem to making it out to be, he was cut for money reasons. And I know he has health issues but he’s currently healthy and we have- *checks notes* - no healthy point guards. No one is saying he should be a long term solution to anything, other than he would be a helpful until someone comes back from injury.

It's impossible to predict when he's able to play. He's the exact opposite type of player the Suns need right now.

I don't know what is getting lost in translation.

We are currently depending G-League level talent to win games. DWJ is a G-League level talent. He has probably helped us win 2-3 games. Ish Wainwright is a probably worse than a number of G-Leaguers.

I’m not looking for a good player, I’m just looking for a warm body. I don’t need it to be Kemba…It just seems weird to be down so many players and to have a very easy way to add a player and not take advantage of it.

Even if you just grab a guy from camp…Frank Jackson, Saban Lee, Adonis Arms, TLC…can’t hurt

I think a lot people still remember him as an all-star just two years ago.

I also don’t think anyone is full on advocating to sign him, other listing him as a candidate that couldve help in situations where a pg would be needed haha

Just scoring 30 plus points in NBA game is going to keep him on the NBA radar, especially when you're talking about playing a bit role on a minimum contract.

And seeing how he just played like 5 games in a row like a week ago and we're talking about a 10-day contract, I'm not sure the "he is never healthy, he never plays" argument really holds a lot of weight in this instance.

I still fully expect the warriors to win but if we win…

Do all the mental gymnastics you want, but anyway you cut, this would be a devastatingly embarrassing loss.
I still believe this! This absolutely a fucking embarrassing loss for GS. I don’t give shit that they made a game of it at the end. The lineup trotted out tonight has no business beating the defending champs on their home court!

Three quarters of brilliant basketball followed by a quarter of trying to give it away. Sheesh.

Got the game posts mixed up.

This game was won with aggression in the paint. Parse from that what you will.

Love Mikal Bridges, he had a great game, but he wanted no part of the ball those last few minutes. That was a little disappointing.
He wasn’t really the guy you wanted attacking that pressure either. He did have two huge offensive boards and putbacks. We never really got into our half court offense at the end. But ya he did kinda disappear on the ball there.
He didn't really try to help Okogie, Torrey and Lee bring the ball up against pressure (other than maybe once). That possession that Torrey ended up getting tied up for a jump ball, I watched him keep moving away from the action. He's probably a little shook from his recent crunch time struggles, but the team needed him to want the ball there.

I saw a tweet y'day that we were the only team not to score 100pts in 2023 🤷🏾‍♂️

So yeah
Go Suns !! Lol
Glad that’s over!

Yeah
Getting rattled on O, guys starting to press a little
Because Golden State is finally playing hard. Their defense is getting more aggressive, their moving faster on offense and defense, their pursuing loose balls with more tenacity. You, know all the things they should have been doing since the opening jump.
Too late. Good thing the games are only 48 minutes.
