Don't make go all JeremyG on you guys over DWJ.
Don't get me wrong, I like having a guy like DWJ on our team. It's nice to have a guy you can just throw out there and maybe he'll just go off and score you 12 quick points. Even if he usually doesn't do that, you can kind of put him out there and see if he's heating up. That is a nice weapon to have. And our bench has always really struggled to score; it seems like a lot of our bench guys defer too much and don't look for their own shot. So in that sense DWJ is nice to have. For a guy on his contract, he's providing great value.

I'd be a lot higher on DWJ if he could do anything but shoot. Like Bob said, he's not a PG because he can't be trusted to take care of the ball.

He's 2023 Mike James.

The numbers are lying. Shamet is below average, at best, at everything. DWJ is a 3 level NBA scorer, which we absolutely need right now. I'd give up some defense for his ability to get hot and put pressure on opposing defenses.
I mean replacement level is below average so I agree, he’s slightly above replacement level. DWJ is well below replacement level. He’s a developmental guy.

Man makes one dribble move in 5 years and all of a sudden he can dribble? If your bar is that low then Monty and the whole squad should be untouchable.
Jones and Vogel gotta go.

Now post a clip of him hitting a 3 and talk about how he's becoming a deadeye 3-point shooter.
