The Lebron scoring thing is just crazy. It's crazy that he is going to break that record. That is such an insurmountable point total, scored by a much bigger man shooting free-money hooks over everybody for 25 years. And a forward with the body of a Mack truck and impeccable commitment to maintaining his health and fitness is finally going to break it.

Kareem had 38,387 points and right now Lebron has 38,164. So he's behind by 223. That's what, 9-10 games for him? He'll have the record within a month. Just crazy.

A few years ago people were talking about how Lebron could break this record. I looked at it and thought, eh, it's unlikely; he'd have to stay basically at his current 27-30 ppg level for 3-4 more years, and that is really hard to do in your late 30s. But here he's done it. Just incredible.

It's also going to start up a bunch of "GOAT" talk, as that particular statistical accomplishment is going to be very hard to ignore.

3 2nds…I don’t think Rui is worth that…especially since you’d have to pay him in a couple months

Should do it in his 8th game if he keeps up his scoring average of 30 a game…could do it in 7 if he puts up 32-33 a game. 8th game would be at home vs OKC, 7th game would be @ New Orleans…would’ve been kinda cool if they were playing @ Cleveland

Also it’s crazy he’s passing the mark and still averaging 30 a game…he’s going to fly past the mark and go over 40,000 pretty easily.

Why would we do that when we wouldn't even trade Crowder for him? Reports were that we turned down that offer.

I think Rui probably helps the Lakers more than he would've helped us.

Rui probably would have helped us more than whatever we're going to end up getting for Crowder.

They needed backcourt help not a wing. Crowder makes zero sense for them. But suns fo probably want someone they don’t have to play and then pay this summer.

I think the Lakers are getting a steal in Rui for 3 second rounders.

I think Kareem's record is even more impressive due to the fact that he didn't shoot 3s.

I don’t really care that much about the pick, except for having the ability to use it for trades…sending 3 2nds impacts how many you can trade later. I just am not that interested in Rui…maybe if we were sending CamJ away in a bigger trade for a star.

Good trade for the Lakers, getting an actual talent without giving away either of their precious '27, '29 1sts. Rui instantly becomes the, what, 4th or 5th best player on their shitty roster?

I just want to win a trade for once. Oubre was the last time right?
