Ya Mikal isn’t a max player either, but he’d get less crap because you can at least fall back on him playing hard every minute
41 minutes, 1 rebound.

He's got his warts too.
Rebounding isn’t his job
Rebounding is everybody's job, expecially since they don't have a real PF.
Not really, the game has changed, Mikal is a point of attack defender, means he’s generally the furthest away from the rim. 30 years ago all the offensive players might have crashed the glass, but nowadays it’s generally 1 or 2 at most.

Are there times when we need Mikal to rebound? Sure, when the team is getting killed on the boards you might need to change things up, but generally speaking we don’t pay Mikal to do that. We want him defending the point of attack and getting out in transition. He could have hung out near the rim and snagged a few cheap rebounds, but that wouldn’t have changed anything. If anything it would have had a negative impact.

CP shouldn't be paying 39 minutes.
Go Suns!

Well I "boldly" said that we weren't gonna mess about with these guys and the game kinda went as expected for the most part - managing a 8-12pt lead and not looking too bothered and then..... :?

That 4th quarter was something else
Credit to Sochan and Keldon tho, those two guys were just playing downhill man. Kept putting pressure on us with their dribble drives. As per usual (fantasy league) put Sochan on my radar cause he been avging like 16pts recently so first time actually watching him and yeah the final stats might be crazy but I like how he plays so probably gonna have more games like that.

So yeah, after the drama to get to OT. The way Mikal played made it all worthwhile lol so I wasn't as annoyed at how things transpired after all

Oh and my boy Cam hit a curl 3 last game out of a timeout when we were down 6 under a minute left that was tough
Last night he hit another one like that in the 1st half and I think EJ comment was that's scary how he shot it referencing KD with his height and quick release has him not even bothered by the defender. Sean Elliott :? LoL also gasped on the Spurs coverage

Fair enough, just seems very nit picky when he literally won us the game

The Jeremy Sochan game.
Don't mess with the Sochan.
I want you to know that I woke up today thinking of this joke and had to come back here immediately to quote it and tip my hat. Bravo.

(Although the exactly right title would be, "You don't mess with the Sochan.")

Fair point, but Bridges is a perimeter role player. I can forgive him for not having a strong rebounding game when he scores 25 points.

I didn’t love Monty’s rotations in this game. Craig shouldn’t be starting with both Bridges and Cam in the lineup. Also, we now have CP, Bridges and Cam healthy. One of those 3 should be in at all times so we don’t keep having these vet-min, all-bench lineups that kind of suck.

Start Damion Lee instead?

Yes. At least against the Spurs.

I think Monty wanted to keep the Lees together. If Payne were available, he might have been more comfortable starting Damion.

:D Adam Sandler, right? I never saw it. Also, I obviously didn't research my joke. :P Glad you liked it! I honestly had never heard of the guy and when I heard how his name was pronounced, immediately thought of that movie in spite of never having seen it.
