And for this sport, why do I keep hearing Buzz words like narrative, slander, and flowers?
I see narrative for lots of things including basketball. Somebody trying to control the story. Flowers is giving somebody or something props. Slander is slander but haven't heard it used for basketball.

"Slander" is often used these days to just mean anything negative about the person/player--whether true or false.

It's a clean design and on the mark from a branding standpoint. It could've been far worse.

I basically support any jersey that has purple as the main color, orange as the highlight color, big bold letters saying "SUNS", and a basketball-sunburst. I'm a simple man. Just give me those things and I'm happy.

I like that they're an updated version of the 1990's uniforms. the only thing I think they should have done differently is the color of the basketball. (this said, we haven't seen the shorts)

Curious what the city connect jerseys are going to be. I know black isn’t reality our color but have enjoyed the various black jerseys over the years.

So we have the best spot up shooter and the best off ball mover. Seems good.

But I was told that we have too many redundant skill-sets with the Beal addition, it’ll never work 😉

I can't wait to watch it not work this season!

I’m posting this here too because there are some good quotes not about the big guy:

https://www.spotrac.com/news/summer-lea ... ence-1958/
“We had a lot of rotation spots to fill. And we had to target specific players, because we weren’t bringing back a lot of depth. Overall, we feel as though we accomplished our goals of getting guys who will complement our starting group.”

“Brad (Beal) is going to be a terrific addition to our team. Is there overlap with Devin Booker? Sure. But show me the coach that says they have too much playmaking and scoring and I’ll show the first coach to ever say that. We think he might have his most efficient season ever too, because he’s not going to have to create so much for himself.”

“Toumani (Camara) might be more ready to play than we thought. Once that jumper comes around, we feel like we’ve got a steal on our hands.”

It’s funny how every single team is so excited about their roster. The interesting this is that the NBA is so stacked that they all have legitimate reason to be.
