Game Day (IST): Suns (9-6) @ Grizzlies (3-11), Fri 11/24/23

Time: 3:00 pm AZ (2:00 pm PT/5:00 pm ET)
Place: FedExForum, Memphis, TN
TV: AZ Family 3TV/NBATV

A battle of two teams going in opposite directions. The Grizzlies have yet to win a home game. No Beal, no Yuta, no Eubanks, no problem? We can't take them lightly. The more we can beat them by the better our IST chances are.

The Grizzlies just signed Jalen Nowell and Shaq Harrison (remember him?) to 10-day contracts.

Sometimes those types of guys are pretty effective in their first couple of games before the opposing teams start putting them on the scouting report.

Maybe the absence of Eubanks will give Metu some opportunity. I wouldn't mind seeing what he can do in more minutes.

Would seem Metu is next man up. Doubt Vogel would go KD at the 5 for extended stretches unless it's matchup based. Maybe if JJJ is seeing most of his time at the 5 then KD can matchup. Maybe Azibuike sees some time if needed.

KD has been putting up just insane numbers for us during this current winning streak. It's amazing to watch. I hope we aren't becoming too dependent on him, though; I want to see other guys like Allen, Gordon, Nurk, KBD, Little stepping up and scoring more.

I don't see KD slowing down at all, which is crazy, gotta limit his decision making in the half court, he's a bit TO prone.

I'm sure it's based on our opponent. Hopefully we get to see the old aggressive offensively Book.

Hopefully KD forces it tonight and risks further injury because it's a Tournament game /s

Oh, yeah. Forgot...tournament. KD should be playing on one leg if he has to.

Something something, he should come back one game later? That's the running gag, right? :-)

There's no way they're just resting him when it's a tournament game. This means it's a real injury. Since the big 3 can never play together, maybe this means Beal can come back soon? :P

I don't know about that. I think it's the fact that it's the lowly Grizzlies and that they are decimated by injuries that we think we can win without him.
