D books home away from home. He should play well but Kd is questionable and that might prove.to be our downfall today

The Knicks are tough like the past few years. Randle's a load but has been up and down, been a bit better recently. MitchRob is a force on the offensive glass and putting together an All-NBA defense kind of year. He's still a bit inconsistent tho depending on the matchups. Hartenstein has been a great backup, more skilled but still tough with size. They've got as good a 2-headed center as we do with Nurk and Eubanks. Brunson is their engine so I'd imagine Goodwin and Okogie will see a lot of minutes to try and slow him down. Not sure Allen or EG are favorable matchups there. Grimes has been a non-factor so far so I'd expect him to go for like five 3s and have a breakout game. Hart is their energy guy, hits 3s, grabs boards and gets out in transition. RJ's more or less their 3rd option but tends to get lost for stretches. Don't want him getting hot. Same with IQ off the bench. He's their offensive spark, Goodwin and Okogie should be sticking to him and being physical so he doesn't find a rhythm.

The Knicks are smaller with no backup 4 and run Hart there. Maybe JO starts on Brunson, Book can take Grimes to save him some energy on D, EG or Allen can start on RJ. KD on Randle. Vogel should look to work KD (if he plays) more against the Knicks bench guys because they have no one to guard him outside of Randle. Not sure how much time KBD or Nas see unless we need a different look against RJ or Hart. If KD doesn't play, it'll be a lot tougher obviously. Not sure we have the bodies to really handle Randle.

Knicks are also coming off a tough come from behind, emotional win against the Heat. They're not really prone to letdowns but it could be possible.

They say you are who you are after 20 games (1/4 of the season), so these next 4 games are pretty important. We could still be either 10-10 (.500) heading into the tournament, or 14-6 (.700). Hopefully we at least maintain a .600, 50-win pace.

I have a bad feeling that Randle is going to go off on us.
For all of our length, we lack bulk other than Nurkic

How about putting Eubanks on Randle?

Like starting Eubanks? That kinda kills our spacing

I was assuming we'd put KBD on Randle. But what do I know? I hope we don't force KD to bang with him the whole game.

With or without KD, this definitely feels like a loss.

Yeah, definitely a loss without KD.

I could hardly watch the last game against Memphis because of how poorly the offense played over long stretches.

KD warming up in full uniform is a good sign that he'll play. Maybe I made my Knicks -3.5 bet too early.

KD out. If the Suns can pull this one out it'd be a nice win.
