I think that's a good idea. The current title is an obvious gut punch rhetorical question. Should we make another thread for each of the other great players we missed out on? Giannis and Jokic for example? (This is another rhetorical question.)

To whoever changed the title, at least it’s a better question.

Oof…. Still think Hali is the bigger whiff. Ayton was holding decently for the first 4 seasons, stix never had it.

Great target for all those “Thick Dick” jokes.

It's a good thing we don't need a point guard or I might feel like we are missing out.
There's the gut punch... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yep...that sucked hard...could bitch about Luka too, but Haliburton fell to us...and we let it pass by...

Drafting Halliburton would’ve meant we kept Mikal.

That would’ve been a trio to keep for years.

Halliburton, Book, Mikal, Cam Johnson. Great core. Would just need a capable big man to go with them, but we had Ayton and could have still done the Nurk trade, so I think that we could easily have had a Hali-Book-Mikal-Cam-Nurk starting 5 with some nice bench pieces.
