We are in desperate need of a playable wing who’s a decent shooter and good defender. KDB and Yuta haven’t worked out, Okogie is too offensively limited. Little could possibly fill that role but he’s been up and down this season but I believe in his potential and he’s locked up for the next four years so it’d suck to get rid of him but he’s probably our best tradable asset.

I think Royce O’Neale could be an interesting target. Good defender and decent shooter. Little and Okogie work money wise but would that be enough for the Nets? O’Neale is an expiring contract so they might not be able to get much for him anyways because of that but still seems teams could outbid us for him. I still like Shaddiq Bey as possibility too, he doesn’t exactly fill our needs but he’s a good player and would immediately help our bench.

Another thing I’d look into is seeing if we could offload Eubanks or KDB for a second rounder.

I don’t think Royce O’Neale would be any better than anybody we have now. Lateral at best.

Like the one we lost for tampering with him?

I think there's value in O'Neale's playoff reps. Little and KBD are already shaky rotation players now and we have no idea how they'll respond in the playoffs.

I really like Little. I wouldn't want to just throw him into some trade. Every time he plays I feel like he gives us something good, often by attacking the basket and being willing to absorb contact. Some nights his shooting helps, too, but that's more inconsistent. I think a lot of our pains right now are caused by KBD not delivering much all year. If we could depend on him as a backup and sometimes starting forward, we'd be in such better shape. As it is we sometimes have to roll out weird frontcourt bench lineups like Eubanks/Bol (ick!!) or play too many tweener forwards at once.
Little after a slow start to the year was doing much better until he got hurt. I hope his knee issue isn’t serious but it doesn’t sound promising.

KBD, Yuta, and Ewwbanks have been complete disappointments.

Goodwin -‘didn’t expect much, got about what we expected which is Shaq Harrison 2.0.

Metu has been a pleasant surprise offensively- more than anything he is confident unlike plain fat free yogurt duo of Yuta and KBD.

Thick Dick is a solid 3rd center. Who knows about Bol.
I will not tolerate the plain fat free yogurt slander. That stuff is very versatile and has many health benefits.
Jones and Vogel out, Lue or Lee in, draft Grant Nelson or Tyler Kolek.

He'd be our 7th best guy by a country mile.

The problem with Royce is he’s also kinda small. He’s a solid player though and a more reliable shooter than anyone not already in our top 6.

He’s shooting 37% from the field this year

Well he almost exclusively shoots 3s, so that’s misleading…here’s his 3pt% the last 6 years:

.386
.377
.385
.389
.389
.367

Slightly down this year, but that’s 6 years between .367 and .389, with 5 of them basically at 38%. We’d be absolutely thrilled if one of KBD, Yuta, Little, Okogie, Goodwin, or Metu consistently shot 38% from 3.

His 2P% has been terrible in Brooklyn (.379 last year and .426 this year), but was excellent in Utah (.586 and .609 his last two years). Has he gotten that much worse, or is he just in a worse environment?

Takes just over one 2-point fg a game…usually at the rim and he’s a bad finisher…probably got better looks in Utah…that was a pretty elite offense. Either way, he shouldn’t be taking many 2s at all

He's a good defender, too. Jae Crowder-type.

Out of all the potential wing options that we could realistically trade for that address both defense and shooting, Royce O’Neale just seems like the best fit to me.

Just thinking about a potential 8 man playoff rotation, I’m mostly confident in our top 6 but we still need 7 and 8. Adding Royce would make a clear top 7 to me, we’d just need to figure a who can be that 8th guy. Maybe Metu is that person but I’m not so sure. Maybe Bol if his recent play is sustainable but way to early to say.

All this talk about actual good players is for naught when the Suns end up with PJ Tucker on the roster. That's going to be annoying.

I’ll be very surprised if we don’t at least make 1 move…Little or the TPE as the salary match
