Poor seems a bit strong, but there’s not a lot of even good defenders on this team. KBD has shown me more defensively than Little has…that’s really all I’m saying. I’m fine with Little being ahead of him because he’s significantly better offensively, but I can see why he might be in the rotation ahead of Little at times.

It's a great clip but that tweet cuts out Nekias' point that can be seen in bajanguy's post.

The Suns can really only deal Allen for a "point guard", so how is it beneficial to the Suns if they'd be taking away his fantastic shooting and decent defense for someone who's going to take the ball out of the hands of the big three, not shoot as well as Allen, and would likely make the Suns worse defensively?

Only a move that increases their size and defensive rating is worth considering at this point.

I wouldn't give up Allen in a deal unless it were for a real gamechanger. He's one of the better backcourt partners for Book and we have his bird rights.

I think at this point moving Allen would be really unwise. I can't imagine anybody at his price point who would be more helpful to our team than he has been.

I can't figure out if we're good or not. Never have I had this feeling 40 games into the season.

We’re not. Looking at the talent on the roster it seems like we should be, but we’re not.

So... we are what our record says we are? But the stats the big 3 have are promising. There are times when our offense looks unstoppable. I think if we can get the defense right we could be pretty good.

Just fix the 4th Q offense and we’re pretty good

No, it’s the Suns who should make you rethink it. The Kings are just playing good ball. It’s the Suns that are enabling them.

I’m not sure how we get the defense right with our personnel. Our starting / closing five doesn’t have anyone who’s good at shutting down a speedy ball handler and Nurk, while a strong physical presence, is not fleet of foot or a real shot blocking threat. Okogie is a terrific defender but messes up our offense too much. It’s a real riddle that I can’t see the answer to.
(Although I will say a bit more effort and attention to detail could get us to a reasonable level and give our offense a chance if it can really click)

I've thought the Kings would be the best playoff matchup for the Suns for a few weeks now, and we saw why it's a good matchup for the Suns at the end of their recent game. The Kings don't have anyone who can punish the Suns with size when it matters because KD can defend up to Sabonis and the Kings aren't disciplined enough defensively to really make the Suns pay for sneaking in a non-shooter in those possessions.

The Suns can't have Nurk get played off the floor like he did against Sabonis and also get bullied on dribble drives, which is why I'm still more worried about the Wolves, Clippers, and even the Lakers if they manage to pull of the right trade, more than the Kings.

Sorry guys; I didn't know where else to ask this
I'm watching the game from last night, and I came up with a question for y'all.........

Does Allen remind any of you as a modern day Majerle?
Other than athleticism I can't think of a difference.

100%…. Now that he’s shaking the dirty player moniker, he’s definitely giving thunder Dan vibes.

In his youth he had to be dirty to compete until he gained the skill to compete.
I totally know his plight, because I was always the unalthletic, slow, (fat) white kid playing bigger, faster, more athletic guys.

If I had to do something "dirty" to help win, I would. The mental part of the game is honestly more important than the physical; if you get a player to think about you instead of the game, you've already beat him mentally.

Grayson is old-school, and I hope he enters the ring of honor AS A CHAMPION one day
