We’re not allowed to sign anyone making more than the MLE, like Lowry, right?

Correct…have to be under 12.4…so no Lowry, no Hayward…Hayward would’ve been real nice.

Problem is there’s rarely anyone in the buyout market that is all that interesting…I’m sure we’ll have our pick, but I’m not expecting much.
Gambo said on the radio we have no interest in PJ Tucker if he got bought out. I’m happy about that.
I think it's more likely the Clippers don't want to let him go to the Suns more so than the Suns aren't interested in signing him.

I'm still holding my breath until right after the trade deadline.

I hate to say it but my gut kinda tells me it’s going to happen. I’m sure the hornets will explore better trade packages and see if he’d prefer those destinations but the no trade clause probably will be too big of a hurdle. I think we are the only possible contending team that could give him the minutes he be looking, while also competing for a championship.
I had no idea that was part of the QO because it's basically never happened with someone as talented as Bridges.

I think the Lakers, Sixers, Mavs, and Warriors are all likely interested in him in addition to the Suns. There's upside of showcasing himself for his next contract with each of those teams.

This is a frustrating one.

Bridges would definitely help in many ways but comes with proven baggage.

However, we still revere and honour a different player who interfered with a minor.
Does Bridges get another chance (yes he’s on strike 3 already) or is he forever ‘that guy’?

Do we lower KJ’s banner with an asterix of ‘but we don’t like what he did while playing for us’.

Is Kidd still judged by the league for what he did while playing for us?

Can people change? Has he gotten or sought help?

Would be better if he was whiter than white and still came cheap!
What we do in life, echoes in eternity.

What bothers me the most is he had another incident in October. He still has a court hearing for that coming up. I think I’d feel differently if it was the one incident and he’d been a model citizen since then…at that point I say give him a 2nd chance. But he may be on chance 3 now…

You think KJ only touched one underage girl? Does being a monogamous pedophile make it excusable? It’s honestly disgusting he’s allowed in the Suns arena even

That's an argument for getting rid of KJ, not an argument for bringing in Bridges. And for the record I would support cutting all ties with KJ and removing him from the RoH.

Wasn't KD working out with Bridges in the off-season and I'm sure Booker probably knows him from growing up on Michigan.

There are probably some ties here that will make this a reality.

It feels like too much smoke and too many connections. I did hear that Lowe said to watch out for the suns to acquire Royce O’Neal if Brooklyn can’t get a 1st for him. I wonder if we’ll see some movement soon or if it’s gonna be drawn out more towards the deadline. I’d like to make our move sooner rather than later.

Bridges would really punch up our bench. It'd be a knockout blow against our opponents. Having him in the lineup would make the opposing team choke. We'd really strangle the competition. We'd give them a real concussion. It'd be like ... throwing pool balls at them (yeah OK I couldn't work this one in).

I get second chances and all, but - without even diving in to the second incident - sometimes a crime is enough to just say “no thanks.” He brutally assaulted a woman in front of their kids. Broken ribs, strangulation, etc. Seems like more than a bad moment. Also, you think that was his first time doing it? I think it’s more likely it was just the first time she called the police.
