I don't think the team been force feeding him to boost his numbers
People might be forgetting that our win streak started with Book going back to being the catalyst in the 1st quarter playing aggressive and setting the tone

The issue is when the D had no choice but to trap
KD, Beal and Grayson were making ppl pay

Anyways
It's unfortunate that he racks up L's in these performances because he been efficient

Coincidence ?
Does he help last night or it's just that our starting lineup has a positive net rating most nights which puts less pressure on the bench ?

Nurk is our only playable front Court player. The jury is still out on Bol. That is why he has such a huge impact on +\-. It says as much about him as it does about the other guys on the team. We absolutely need another 4/5. Royce O Neal doesn’t fix that. We have to get Bridges and/ or Richards or some other impact 4 or 5 SOMEHOW.

Ya it says Nurk is good, but it really says that Eubanks sucks. Nurk doesn’t have a long history of staying healthy either, so that’s definitely a concern we need to address.

Ya I think it’s fairly likely too…I’ve come to the realization that I have no control over what the suns do…so what happens will happen and I’m not going to get overly worried about it. I can still hope we get Royce O’Neale though
After watching some weekend hoops and watching highlights videos, I’m still on the Bey > O’Neale train.

He’s bigger…I can’t say I’ve watched much of him to really know though.

I was surprised to see their rebound rates are basically identical.

I see it as

O’Neale:
more reliable 3 point shooter (though I haven’t dug in to off-the dribble vs catch, which would be a factor here)
better passer
better wing defender

Bey:
Way more on ball juice
6 years younger
Cost controlled/RFA rights

Royce definitely is just a catch and shoot guy. I looked at the numbers and he’s a 40% guy when he’s wide open and takes no dribbles. The percentage significantly drops if he’s covered at all or dribbles at all

Yep, we have no control plus I’m not letting that piece of shit, who we’d have for half the year, ruin my multiple decades of fandom.
Exactly this. I guess I’ll just have to root for the team without rooting for the player.

But what if he hits the championship-clinching shot? :?

So basically how I’ll feel if it’s Nurkic? ;)
