I’m not opposed to killian, but I agree he wouldn’t play. He’d be a developmental project

If this team were interested in development, we wouldn’t have traded a hundred draft picks in a year,

Ya I don’t expect them to sign Killian, but that’s the type of development they should do when they have limited draft picks

Killian's ability to direct the offense like he does would have value for this team...and agree, of course his shot needs work...but he would strengthen an aspect of player mix that is weaker w/o the big 3 on the floor...and btw, he's only 22...

Interesting stats...Ast to TO
2023-4 4.9:1.2
2022-3 6.2:2.3
2021-2 4.2:1.7

To me that makes him a really interesting target...and ya, I hear on the use side, so I guess I'm focusing on potential, but we know we're not getting PG prospects through picks etc. now. I'd love to see us grab him and get him a coach to work his shot...shrug...just my thinking, right or wrong...

I wonder if you've ever watched him play, VT. He's not good right now and I wouldn't trust him to run anything outside of blowout minutes.

There’s just no way you could give him regular minutes…if he wants to sign a 2 year deal and take the time to develop behind the scenes then I’m all for it. He’s going to want to go somewhere that will let him play though.

He wouldn't see the court in the playoffs unless two guards were injured if he signed with the Suns.
So about a 95% chance of him seeing the court?

Not immediately hobbling to the bench was the most promising sign to me. He stayed in the game for 3-4 possessions before going out.

Maybe he was being a little stubborn as he initially sat at the end of the bench, but I'm sure the Suns were also being cautious by taking him back to the locker room.

He also seemed to be walking normally when they showed him in the tunnel. I didn’t see a noticeable limp. I don’t think it’s going to be too bad and like you said, perfect timing with only Detroit tomorrow before the all-star break. Having said that, tomorrow is a trap game if I’ve ever seen one.

Maybe Beal will get his nose set while his hamstring is injured.

Here’s some fun stats on where our team as a whole ranks on shooting from all locations:

At the rim: 7th at 72.6%
3-10 feet: 6th at 47.7%
10-16 feet: 2nd at 50.2%
16-3pt: 4th at 45.6%
3pt: 5th at 37.9%
Corner 3s: 11th at 41.5%

As for attempts:

At rim: 24th at 22.7% of total
3-10 ft: 25th 19.1%
10-16 ft: 1st at 13.5%
16-3pt: 3rd at 8.1%
3pt: 22nd at 36.7%

That just isn’t how the modern game is played. Except for us. It is well known that layups and threes are the most efficient shots. Naturally, we take the most shots between 10ft and the three-point line.

It is interesting that the nuggets take more long 2s and less 3s than we do. We do take more mid range than them and less at the rim.

Than this story refutes it?
