Why on earth is sorry Okogie bringing the ball up and running a pnr with Ewwbanks? Who TF called that?
Sorry Okogie?! The same Okogie that tipped the FT rebound to Allen to preserve the win?

I have a bad feeling about this game. No defense and the Suns are now trying to figure out a rotation without Beal.
I imagine you’re feeling a little better now.

Somebody needs to wake Booker up for the 2nd half.
Apparently somebody did.

This is a game Thad would really help in…Nurk and Eubanks aren’t good matchups for Sabonis…we’re gonna need to go Durant at the 5 to win this one.

Well it’s more the combo of the guards playing off Sabonis that Drew and Nurk aren’t good for.
Nope. We were much better when Nurk returned in the 4th.

It was quite the opposite tonight. Kings made a 10-0 run when we took out our centers and we righted the ship after Nurk returned.

How bad did things look for Beal?
Pretty bad. I'm guessing 3 to 4 weeks. He definitely looked in pain.
Way to early to know, IMO. At least it's basically the best time of the season for it to happen with the Pistons at home this week and then an entire week off during All-Star. He might miss only a few games.
Good call. The early diagnosis seems to match this.

OK, how long does Vogel stay small before bringing in Nurk to match Sabonis? I'm not entirely sure that he should.
He did and he should.

How did we just walk away from Fox there…ugh
When O’Neale hit the late three I said “Welcome to Phoenix, Royce O’Neal.” And then Ian Eagle said the same thing word for word. And then of course they leave Fox WIDE open for three back.

First quarter: Book wtf

Second quarter: Book dog shit

Third quarter: Book- the Landry Shamet game

Fourth quarter: 🤯 🍆 💦
Heh. Yeah, first half I was like, there is something wrong with Book. He was missing wide open jumpers and he hit the side of the backboard on a wide open three. 2nd half he got his soul back or something.

Okogie gonna force his ass into the playoff rotation
One of the few Suns players to make the hustle plays. He has earned it. Glad to see O’Neale is like minded. I enjoy the defensive lineups with both of them out there.

35-18-12 for Sabonis…and somehow not an all-star
I think you know that all-star voting is over and it’s also not based on a single game. ;) Maybe he gets Leonard’s spot.

Check your replay, Mr. Hindsight.

The smallball lineup overcame the deficit and built the 10 point lead in the first place.

Whew. Suns win

But if I'm Sacramento, the Suns haven't done anything to make them feel like they can't beat them in a seven game series.
It would be a heck of a series.

I wouldn't really say they were much better. I think it was more likely a combination of Nurkic being rested and no longer needing to scramble anytime the Kings threatened to post Sabonis. Nurkic had two really good defensive possessions in the paint, but he also gave up an easy lob to Monk and got caught not communicating with Allen on the Fox 3.

Vogel brought him back at exactly the right time and he did the job.

And I want to shoot Booker everytime he emulates CP3 and cross the half court sloowwwlyyy.

7sol then, 7 seconds to cross the halfcourt now.
Yes! I’m starting to think he’s messing with us. A couple times tonight he barely made it over in time. Another thing he does that drives me crazy is when he does it get it over the line, he will sometimes stay dangerously close to the half court line inviting a possible back court violation.

Also I really like Candace Parker usually, but she’s stuck on this suns just iso thing…am I the crazy one? I’m not seeing that at all. We started doing it at the end when Kings were switching everything, but she said it was iso from 11 minutes left in the 4th…we were moving that ball all over the place with that small ball lineup the first half of the 4th.
She's been stuck in that take for a while now, one of the hardliner "Suns need a PG" pundits.

Moving the ball to hunt mismatches and attacking them in isolation is not iso-ball. In fact, it's less iso-centric than what a lot of "point guards" do in the PnR right now.
She even had J Crossover agreeing with her on the PG thing.

We were getting destroyed by Sabonis until Nurk returned. I think we can both agree on your last sentence.
