Can't waste a pick especially a first on a guy that can't play.
In the hopes of attracting a 40 year old.

What could go wrong?
Jones and Vogel out, Lue or Lee in, draft Tyler Kolek.

Probably whatever team drafts Bronny hoping for a free Lebron tag-a-long is going to end up disappointed. For one, Lebron might renege and not come. Second, he might agree to come, but only if the team agrees to ridiculous conditions. For example, he might make them promise that both he and his son get to start, or that his son has to be guaranteed a spot in the regular rotation, or TOO's idea that he would want to buy into the team ownership after, or whatever. Or Lebron would demand that you also sign some other FAs managed by Maverick Carter and CAA. Lebron would probably almost immediately start to undermine the team's coach, since he seems to only play well with coaches he basically hand-picked.

I think it'd turn into a circus and would end up hurting the team that bit on it.
I think you are getting carried away…LeBron is not going to come into a team with Booker and KD and start undermining everything. And you simply tell him no if he does. We would be doing him a favor by drafting his son in the first place.

I think the more likely scenario is Bronny stays in school and LeBron plays another few years in LA and plays his last year when he’s like 42 wherever Bronny is.

I think LeBron would want a brand new expansion franchise in Las Vegas. Bonny is at best a 3nd round guy, imo.

I don’t think we got a great look at Bronny after his medical situation. He really should go back and play another year in college.

And I think LeBron is getting that Vegas franchise…seems like an open secret.

I believe I was far too harsh on that big ol fuck. Yeah he's a relic of a bygone era but I don't see why he can't have a useful role somewhere. He moves better than Yao did at that size.
I loved him in Moonraker

Edey will get a shot in the league, but Donovan Clingan is a better NBA prospect.

Well, yeah. He's 7'2", athletic, a good defender and can catch the ball on rolling to the basket.

My point is the discussion is focused on the wrong guy.

I don't think the Suns will be in any position to pick Clingan.

I love Star Trek but Clingan's are the "bad" guys. :P (Unless they're Worf.)

There’s Clingans on the starboard bow, scrape them off, Jim!

This NCAA championship game is reminding me how much Ayton disappointed me. Edey is so much better posting up, sealing his man, making himself a big target and catching the ball.

Even against non-NBA competition, it’s obvious Edey is way better than Drew Eubanks. Too bad he’ll be off the board when we draft.

I think you may be right, although I haven't seen Edey mocked higher than 22.

Well, we’re going to be drafting in the top 21, and I wouldn’t want to pass on him. He should not drop below us.

Ishbia wants to be best at everything, and Jones will take that as best at punting the draft.
