Cam’s lucky he got his bag when he did. I think he’s been exposed a bit since he went to Brooklyn.

Cam is a good player but probably overpaid at this point. Wish we had him back, but probably not on that contract.

It was a really bad missed call, no question. But during that scramble, the Pistons had multiple chances to just secure the ball and hold on, forcing the Knicks to foul. Or secure the ball and call a time out. Not only that, but the Knicks missed the ensuing foul shot, and Detroit couldn't come up with possession, forcing them to foul again ... whereupon, the Knicks missed another free throw, which Detroit once again couldn't rebound, and time ran out with no clear possession.
This year's Pistons are a bad team, and bad teams will generally find ways to lose. The refs helped this one along, but Detroit also lost a bunch of chances to help themselves in the last few seconds.

Oh come on, the refs screwed them. Point.
At best, they didn't have the balls to whistle against NY in NY. At worst, they had money on it.
And I am always amazed how people say it's the players fault. You have to win despite the refs/NBA clearly not wanting you to win, and that's ok?
And I'm not only talking about this game but about matches, series in which teams litterally got robbed.
That's why every year I wonder if I'm gonna spend money on a league pass or just stop watching NBA. Because sometimes I feel the end is scripted, I can tell by the way games are officiated who will be champion.
Man, there's enough proof of refs fixing games for money or because they don't like a player or an owner and nothing is done against it.
Reviews are just a joke.
Just my 2 cents, not entering into details or comp with what happened in Europe, I let you guys talk about it, your english is way better than mine

I don't subscribe to the fixed games controversies. That's giving the refs too much credit. They are just flat out incompetent. I get that refs let a lot go uncalled in the last few seconds, but the Detroit player (don't know who) clearly had control and was clearly tackled. Refs can't let that go.
I usually try to avoid criticizing the refs too much. It's a tough job. The game is fast, and it's impossible to see everything. But this season the officiating quality is the worst I have ever seen.

I think it’s more nefarious than that. The NBA actually has a revenue stream from gambling now. So it is in their best interest for certain outcomes. Stop thinking you’re watching actual competition and realize you’re watching WWE, it’ll help with your mental health.

It almost happened again. If you guys watched the Mavs @ Cavs game tonight, towards the end you see Green pull down Darius Garland and no foul was called. Cavs were able to get the time out, but no ref blew the whistle for the foul.
Straus hit the game winning three from halfcourt. It turned into a classic game, but for two nights in a row an obvious foul was missed.

You mean well behind half court. Crazy ending.

That was crazy!
There’s a shot of the Mavs bench when it goes through that is hilarious…
