I think there is something to the fact that Grayson, as good as he's been, has been on 3 teams already. I think he's seen as a nice productive player but maybe more of a luxury/expendable type of guy. I do think if you're staggering the Big 3 and he's coming in as a sub, it keeps him in that secondary role next to a Beal or Book and he can still get quality looks.

Herb Jones is kind of that prototype long 3-D wing but he won't be available so maybe we can draft a player like that? Thybulle I don't trust as a shooter.

Remember when Booker said “Respectfully, I don’t know how teams are going to guards us” and now we’re most likely gonna miss the playoffs. Lmao fucking joke. At least I got the DBacks.

I like the one video where he was telling Ayton to bring the effort every night. That one seems funny now.
Jones and Vogel out, Lue or Lee in, draft Grant Nelson or Tyler Kolek.

Bright Side: It's time to accept who the Phoenix Suns are this season

Nah…we made these moves to be a title contender. We shouldn’t accept anything less than that…especially not a play-in loser.

It does. I hope he's challenging his current teammates and himself

Couple of things:
- 18M sounds like too much for Grayson. He has been good on the court, but he's not creator or a stopper. He's also not a leader or a culture maker. But I would still rather spend 18M of Ishbai's money on Grayson than spend 5M of Ishbia's money on someone worse.
- Can't blame KD for not giving the leadership we want. He has never been that guy.
- How smart are our players, really? I had thought we had a high IQ team, but I don't see the adjustments or smart basketball I want from these guys. Hard to tell if Vogul is holding the team back or if they just aren't as versatile as I expected.

I think it was a lot easier for Book to get on guys like DA, Mikal, Cam, etc because he was the clear alpha and go-to guy on the team. This year, even tho it's still technically his team, he might not feel comfortable calling out or getting on KD or Beal, being a younger/less accomplished player. They're on his level and older veterans, how much can he really push those guys?

True, I’m just not going to agree that it’s acceptable. We are way too talented of a team to just be ok with being what we are. Unacceptable to me.

Well, yeah. That goes for all of us. How do you think Ishbia feels?

He’s the important one…this off-season will be very interesting if the playoffs don’t go well.

I think the $75m extension for Grayson Allen is fair. He'll probably break our hearts and regress to the mean, but I think we should pay it rather than letting him walk. He's been absolutely exceptional for us this year, and if he can maintain close to this level of performance, he's worth that amount. And he'll get plenty of open shots next year, too, with our Big <= 3 in the lineup with him.

At this point nothing would surprise me with is team. A first round exit? Maybe. A championship? That could happen too. Who knows.

Well, bookies are offering +2500 on the Suns to win the championship. If you think we’re a serious contender, you might want some of that action.

They said tonight that the Suns final 10 games are against playoff teams and the last time that happened was over thirty years ago.

Good read. It would be interesting to see what our record would be if we just eliminated the egregious unforced errors. Feel like there’s 3-4 of those most games
