We are an awful transition defensive team though

If we could just stop doing that thing where we make a lazy sideways pass that gets easily picked off and leads to a fastbreak basket for the other team, which we do like 5-6 times a game, we'd be in great shape!

I agree that and our weird 4th Q issues are our biggest problems.

Last night was encouraging in that regard.

IMO our biggest problem is our defense. Our turnovers come in 2nd. You can say that our biggest problem is that we collapse in 4th quarters, which is true in a literal sense. But what exactly do we do badly in these 4th quarters? Bad defense, turnovers, taking tough shots and missing them, lack of passing, etc. It's the same stuff.

Here’s a fun fact…we rank 13th in defense this year, which is better than Denver ranked last year in defense. As stated above, our half court defense has been good. I think our defense is good enough. We were always going to win with offense. The problem is our offense needs to be top 3 and it’s 9th.

It's tough when you give up transitions so quickly off of live ball turnovers.

I'd say our biggest issue is consistency of effort and purpose. It covers all of those.

LeBron never got close actually…1698 points was his most. Didn’t play enough games mostly.

Also Alex English scored 2175 and Karl Malone scored 2095. KD could catch Malone by averaging 31 a game over 9, but he’d have to average 40 to catch English for most points scored in an over-35 season.

That would be a neat milestone for KD. I hope we blow out our opponents down the stretch so much that he doesn't even have to play/score that much.

Suns team performance...my observation vs. the every other game off theory is we play down to the level of our competition, which makes this week a hard call as we have two mid range teams (Pelicans, Cavs) and the Wolves on Thursday. My pessimistic side says we go 1 and 2...so I'll split the difference, predicting W, L, W...Pelicans by a nit, we lose ugly to the Cavs, and we blow the Wolves out. Prediction logged...we'll see.
