Game Day: Suns (42-30) @ Nuggets (51-21), Wed 3/27/24

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Ball Arena, Denver, CO
TV: AZ Family 3TV/ESPN

The Nuggets are 15-2 since the all-star break and are in the top spot in the Western Conference as a result. While the Suns continue to disappoint and blew a game to the lowly Spurs minus their best player, Victor Wembayama. The Suns were one of the two teams to beat Denver since the break so they will be looking for revenge. Neither Beal nor Nurk practiced today and both are questionable for this game. Uh, oh.

Unless the Nuggets have a bunch of guys out injured, this could get ugly.

I hope it gets ugly. No more wins that we can say "now the teams gets it" so we play like shit the next game.

Idk, Suns seem to play worse when teams miss their best guys.

Facing Jokic and AG without Nurk sounds like a long and unpleasant evening. Ewbanks needs to have the game of his life.

They do. The other team gets motivated and the Suns get lethargic. The Suns might be better missing a couple guys. Maybe they find a little motivation in it. Being on the cusp of not being in the playoffs doesn’t seem to motivate them much.

I’d almost just go small if no Nurkic. Play zone and just let it fly from 3

This whole Suns team reminds me of the movie Cool Hand Luke. "What we got here is a failure to communicate."

You could also flip Dennis Green's famous comment. "They aren't what we thought they were!"

Knowing this team, they’d probably take the first half of your suggestion without the second. Love when they play small to get contested mid-range jump shots.

I'd be more confident if I was high.

No Jamal Murray tonight for Nugs which makes our chances to win lower.

I heard he’s questionable as well.

ETA: I guess he’s probable now.
