Bush league. Calling for a coach’s challenge when we threw up the white flag and put in our scrubs. This won’t be forgotten. It was just one game, Wolves.

Booker about to get pissed and go off.
Or shoot us out of the game
There’s that.

Looks like they started iso ball early and forgot they need to pass the ball to win.
Yep, stupid. You have three world class players but you just go one on one every time down. If we just moved the ball, we could always get a great shot without all the work.

Why the refs calling ticky tack stuff now? They let everything go in the 1st Q…just call it the same all game
I’m glad it wasn’t just me that noticed it. The ticky tack stuff seemed to be one-sided against us.

Hubie Brown just said Nurkic was 6'9" so there's some new info
Hubie Brown is old enough to be a presidential candidate.
I looked it up. He's literally 90. I respect his contributions to the game over the years but it's time...
You think he should put him down?

I think this was when we decided to go back to Booker and he got nothing…he’s been so bad today…worst I’ve seen from him in a long time
To their credit, they smothered him pretty well today. Looked to be their number one goal.

Ant gonna score more today than he did all season against us
Let him get it all out of his system in one game. You can’t take it with you to the next games.

Young, Bol, Isaiah ZERO Minutes after all this..AGAIN...Vogel is a broken record...try something new? NAHHHHH
What??? What here doing here? Lmao
Lol. He's strictly on the team for vibes. He's not an NBA player anymore.
He looks horrible even in scrub time. And you want to play him meaningful minutes?!

I'm just curious why Bol Bol saw zero minutes when it mattered? Not saying he's the answer, but he could be part of the solution.

Good job by the Wolves playing us to our weaknesses. I think their size wore us down over the course of the game and without the 3s falling we just let go of the rope. The numbers tell the story on this one - we only took 75 shots to their 88, were outrebounded 52-28 giving up 13 offensive boards, they had 26 assists with 14 TOs while we had 16 assists with 15 TOs. Once Ant got rolling in the 3rd, we couldn't hit back with anything. Maybe Okogie sees some time over EG to get on Ant defensively?

Early on KD cooked from midrange but no one else was in any rhythm. Book never looked like he got comfortable and the Wolves did a good job making Beal a non-factor. Allen couldn't shake free when he was out there and now he might miss time with an ankle injury. Vogel tried going small but you gotta play fast and hit shots, which we didn't do.

Not sure if Vogel will give Bol and Young looks in Game 2 and even then, they won't help much with the physicality we saw today. We need to make shots, plain and simple.

Yeah, I don't really see what more Vogel wants from him? He's been better than Eubanks for at least the last 30 games.

I think the female drama has taken a toll on Booker the latter part of the season and carried into the postseason. We joke about it but social circles are always talking this or that about his love life. From what I read, it definitely sounds like it could be very distracting.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I picked Suns in 6 in the playoff prediction thread. And they could still win this series. But I don't know what I was thinking predicting anything good for this team. One of the most frustrating "good" Suns teams ever.

Sounds like most here did. Or at least, the Suns lost the whole thing in 1.

The Wolves did what they were supposed to do in Game 1. Let's see if they can do it again in Game 2.
