The Suns and Timberwolves tip of their first round series early afternoon Saturday on ESPN. In spite of the Suns regular season success, most outlets are picking the Wolves to win game one. I expect to see a physical Wolves team laying hands on the Suns to try and get them out of their rhythm. That seems to be most teams' game plan when playing the Suns. We'll see how the Suns respond. It will also be interesting to see if the Suns give consistent effort throughout the playoffs and if their recent 4th quarter success can continue. In addition, do we get Super Beal that we saw in the last two games? That could be the difference.

Suns and early start games don’t mix very well, we will probably come out super flat and let Twolves get a big lead. This is a Suns loss.

We had the same start time in our last game

That’s probably true, but it’s also what you say when you don’t want to admit you’re in a bad place.

The early start, the long layoff, Vogel saying "they're ready"...sounds like a disaster. I can't help but think there could be a 17-2 start to the game for either team.

Anything is possible with this team…I think we’ll be ready though. Is encouraging that we’ve been on our A game for every wolves matchup.

Someone in the comments corrected it…it’s they are 0-22 all time in those jerseys vs Phoenix…a lot of that probably years ago when Minny sucked.

Suns are favorites to win the series, but underdogs in game 1. That seems quite unusual.
