Around the League: Week of 3/30 - 4/05

Mostly this week I'll be watching the other teams at the bottom of the West playoff picture hoping for them to lose.

Tonight (Mon) Memphis is playing Denver. They'd be favored to win that game, but hey, go Nuggets!

The Spurs also stomped Indiana tonight. What's going on with the Pacers? They suddenly don't look even close to ready to challenge Miami.

Denver had the most tanktastic last possession of a game ever last night.

the only guarantee he is not going to be traded is:

a) if the suns make the playoffs
b) or, if the suns fail to sign bledsoe to an extension

Nice of Golden State to down Dallas in OT last night. Looking at the standings, it's amazing to see how much better shape we would be in if we had just taken care of business with the lakers.

So true. Freaking Lakers. If we miss the playoffs by 1 game....

But I caught that Warriors-Mavs OT win from the gym here in the Bay Area. The guys there were going nuts when Curry hit his game-winner. I was cheering, too, but for a slightly different reason. :-)

Minnesota has Memphis in the bag. 3:24 left and up 98-80. Nice. Now we have to do our part.

Has anything gone right for Milwaukee this year?
Larry Sanders has been suspended five games without pay for violating the NBA's anti-drug policy, the league announced Friday.

Larry Sanders has been absolute train wreck this season. Yay advanced stats!!!!

I don't know if I would label him like that. People have to talked him up for good reason. He looks like he should be the second or third best player in the draft; he has loads of potential.

But you're right, that is a huge positive for Milwaukee this season.
