Phx-Suns.net 2015 Awards

Post by Mori Chu »

I had this idea the other day. It's kind of half-baked, so I want you folks to help flush it out more fully. :-)

Why don't we give out some end-of-year awards to various members of the site? It's just for fun but meant as a way to pat some members on the back for being awesome. The categories could be a mix of serious stuff and silly stuff. Here are examples:

* Site MVP
* Most prolific poster
* Best hoops knowledge / basketball IQ
* Most positive attitude about our poor Suns
* Snarkiest poster
* Funniest / biggest jokester
* International poster of the year (for somebody outside the USA who is an awesome member here)
* Best avatar image
* Politics folder MVP
* ...

What do you think? What categories am I missing? How should we do the selection of the awards, maybe just by creating polls? Or is this a dumb idea? Haha.

I vote INF for the "..." award, because he's never here.

Late push for the jokester award, but I'm afraid my vote would still go to the Superbone (though it shouldn't count for much).

Most prolific poster should come with a disappointed phone call from the winners mom or dad.
