GT at Zipps (Via de Ventura & Hayden Rd), tomorrow at 3:00 to watch Suns v Kings. Who's in?
I'm OK with that if it works out better for LL and v9.Indy wrote:I am OK for this Wednesday too.
Nice try. Last time, you never showed up.Cap wrote:GT at Zipps (Via de Ventura & Hayden Rd), tomorrow at 3:00 to watch Suns v Kings. Who's in?
I love it when these get-togethers are trying to get organized and people (not you, 'Bone) say things like "How about meeting somewhere else? That's a little out of the way.", or, "How about this place? It's easier for me to get to?", or something of the like.Superbone wrote:Nice try. Some folks have kids or otherwise hectic lives. I sympathize with anybody who misses a gathering due to it being out of the way. As for myself, I'm 700 miles away, which is a decent excuse.SwingMan wrote:Unless someone's cabbing it, make the fucking trip, as I can guarantee that nobody's ever had to drive 41 miles one-way to get to CoopersTown behind AWA (or nearly 60 miles one-way to desertcoast's place for the last DAR in November, 2008).
Now you have a better idea why I quit showing up to 'em.
If you're making the trip (or planning it) to be gone a few hours anyways, what's a little distance going to hurt? Every trip I've made for a .net get-together in the past involved at least 80 miles round trip - every last one, including Majerle's last game and the 2002 NBA Draft function held at the Dodge Theater downtown.Mori Chu wrote:Some folks have kids or otherwise hectic lives.
