I'm glad to be honest that Knight is out. I'd rather watch Goodwin/Booker.

OMG. Yes! Give it the asterisk treatment so I don't have to read about it every other day. Y'all are like scorned exes. It was traded. It sucks. There's nothing we can do about it now. Lump it in with the following: Steph Curry was almost a Sun but Don Nelson is a prick. We almost won the right to draft Kareem. We traded 2 first round draft picks with a very serviceable player because Sarver is cheap. That trade cost us Serge Ibaka. Also, screw the Hawks, we could have had Noah.
Go Suns!

Ben Simmons demands to know and Devin Booker concurs.

I fear it hurts the chances of a Knight trade though.

I don't know. It might even be better that he's not on the court. His stats are better than he looks. I'd rather the other teams didn't see his boneheaded turnovers.

Oh. They know. NBA scouts are not dumb. They see everything we see and more.

This begs the question, why didn't the Suns GM and scouts see this prior to the trade?

I'm sure they did but projected improvement. They also assumed EB would be doing the majority of the ball handling.

Yet GMs pull crazy move after crazy move. Very few scape from a blunder here or there.

Of course Knight is what he is, but there will be a positive market if the FO decides to move him. We are never getting that pick's worth back, but that's a matter of sunk cost and how it is approached.

Once we have found a prototypical SG in Booker the double PG lineup stops making sense so there's also the posibility that whoever is coaching in the future realizes Knight is best suited to play a 6th man role instead of (co-)leading guard.

I think we should be trying to move Knight and Markieff to Utah right now. They just signed a D-Leaguer because PG is so bad and they have a wealth of big men. You won't get Favors or Hayward but you might get Lyles and Hood. The problem would be matching salaries. The only guy besides Hayward and Favors making any money is Burks and he doesn't fill a need here.

I don't see the Jazz willing to take on Kieff.

Knight made a ton of sense for them before Trey Burke started delivering. At this point, despite injuries, if I were the Jazz I'd talk myself out of trading for Knight unless Burke would net me another asset.

Anyway, Knight for Trevor Booker, Tibor Pleiss and a pick works. Booker+Lyles too.

Can you imagine the PR and Leanderisms if that happens?
