Pretty amazing how well the Mavs have played this year. I can't believe they have gotten so much out of that seemingly creaky backcourt. Dirk and Carlisle really have done a great job holding that team together. It shows that if you have things right up top (ownership, GM, coach), and have a stable and supportive org, you can be competitive year by year even if you don't have the best talent on the roster. I'm super envious of franchises like this; I think we used to be one of them.

I want the same things out of this game that I always want: Heavy minutes for the young guys; Booker and Warren getting a ton of shots; lots of rebounds for Len.

These dark times are good for finding out a players character. Do they go through the motions or do they have pride in themselves and say "You want this game? Then you have to go through me."

Ill be watching and taking notes on who is trying and who is going through the motions. They will probably lose but, I expect anybody out there to be giving it 100% or take a seat.

Even when losing every game. I still enjoy watching the development of our players. I want to see if Archie learns anything from game to game. I love watching Booker blossom before our eyes. I want to see Warren continue to improve at defense and start putting together some consistent games on offense. I'm a Suns fan through thick and thin.

Right ankle impingement? What is that exactly?

Warren had been bothered recently by a sprain in that ankle and got an X-ray before playing Friday at New York, where he has 12 points and two rebounds in 20 minutes. That sprain apparently led to tissue in the ankle being pinched.
Ah.

I just want to see one player on this roster be a good passer. Is that too much to ask? Can't we have one guard on the team ever who is capable of getting an assist to his teammates?

I wish we could somehow get Ricky Rubio on this team.

Oh.
* Jordan McRae is the Suns’ leading active scorer. McRae has been a Sun for one game but his 12-point NBA debut gave him the best scoring average among active Suns, ahead of T.J. Warren’s 11.0 average and Markieff Morris’ 10.1 average. Eric Bledsoe (20.4) and Brandon Knight (19.7) were the Suns’ leading scorers for the season.

Hilarious! The guy who came in from the D-League and scored 12 points in one game is the leading active scorer on the team per game!

Of course our sorry fucking excuse for a coach would bench Len. We had a few games where we were running out the young guys for big minutes but now that people are coming back from injury we go back to the vets who started this horrible stretch of basketball.

I dread the day Sarver signs Hornacek to a multiyear contract.

The Suns played a surprisingly solid first quarter of basketball and end up 2 points going into the second quarter.

That zone defense. Nothing like giving up the lane when running a zone.

Len gets 6pts 6boards 2 blocks in 9 minutes in the first half. Second half he doesn't come in till the 4th quarter he will probably only get another 6 minutes.
