lol that was football not basketball. I played fantasy football (even though I was not good) because I could spend 20 minutes a week setting a lineup. Fantasy Basketball is way too much work!

Lillard and LaMelo? Kind of big for early in the season, I guess.

Honestly, I just wanted off of Lillard. I didn't really want to draft him or Embiid at the 8th position, and probably should've reached for Paul George. I don't really see a path for Lillard to regain first round value, but now that I've said it he'll probably go for 30/5/13 on 50-40-90 splits this month.

Whereas I thought surely Lillard can’t keep shooting this badly? But I may have been wrong about that.

Lillard will definitely improve, I just don't know how long it'll take. He wasn't good during the Olympics, and hasn't looked right this season. Some people think it's injury related, but maybe it's also the coaching change.

I think LaMelo is a pretty safe bet to finish the season as a top 25 player. I also decided that I'm pretty unlikely to win the league, so I should at least get a fun player to watch.

I've spent the last two weeks trying remind myself to stay the course and I won't (hopefully) have 4 injured players on my roster all season.

I feel like I actually drafted quite well... I was thrilled to get PG13 and Beal on the turn, and picked up Melton, Barnes, Brown, and OG who all have to an extent performed above their draft positions. Yet I lose pretty convincingly both weeks, and it's not like I can blame it on injury. This and the Suns start to the season has me on the brink of swearing off basketball for a while.

I'm not sure I can recall seeing a whole league go 4-4 or 5-3 for a week like this past. I think the parity is pretty cool.

Another interesting trade went down. Maybe Jalen Brown will be dealt to Philly in the NBA as well?
