Why? 3 million dollars for 48 seconds doesn't sound so bad. Boom. Retired and set for life.

She had a long run at the top of women's fighting. Hard to stay on top for year after year in such a demanding brutal sport.

She was suicidal after she lost the first match. Getting her ass kicked early isn't exactly an ego boost.

Bullet point #2, a well known fact about Rousey and her father committing suicide should be reason enough to not make light of the situation and joke about suicide as it relates to Ronda as well as take jabs at her "weak" mental fortitude. This isn't directed at you SDC. This is directed at the hate that is spewing in towards her after this loss (and her last loss). It's easy for any of us to play armchair quarterback, etc., and knock people for their lack of mental strength or fortitude in the face of failure without putting ourselves in their shoes. Even more alarming is the fact that her grandfather committed suicide as well. Mental health and how it relates to our lineage and genetics are still far from understood but parallels are easy enough to draw.

This quote, which is over a year old, hits the nail on the head (from Ronda's mom). Her coach is the biggest reason for her downward spiral and subsequent losses (which is evident in the fact that her boxing and stand-up skills have regressed under his tutelage):
I think Edmund is a terrible coach, and I will say it publicly. I think he hit the lottery when Ronda walked in there. She was winning before she even met him. She probably won 99 percent of the judo matches she ever fought in. She had won the Junior Worlds when she was 17. She got a bronze medal in the Olympics. She got a silver medal in world championships. She was one of the top athletes in the world when she walked in there, and he wouldn’t even give her the time of day for months. Somebody like that is a terrible coach.
The guys is literal scum and has been fighting over $200k in bankruptcy debt for some time.

Most experts agree that he has been her downfall. Loyalty to such a shit person has been the death of her career.

Coach may have doomed Ronda Rousey's fight, career

Hell, even her latest opponent Nunes agrees.

Wasn't aware that Breitbart asked people that posted on Twitter their political party of choice. Good to know. Thanks for adding such value to the discussion.

there's only one party that is concerned about so called "white privilege" and put the "black lives matter" movement on a pedestal.

How's your tough, white life treating you? Is it hard for you watching minorities come up? Nobody better get in the way of a raging, middle aged white male or you'll be damned! You remind me of my dad. Love him to death but can't figure out his scorned outlook on life and alignment with Trump and changing to Republican. Apparently his and your age demographic have seen some things us Millennials will never understand.
