First of all, Hannah is vindictive as hell. Going back in time just to screw with Ulrich. And then yeah, talk about jumping the shark. Martha from a different world?!

Just wait for Season WTF! I won't spoil anything for you. I also won't be able to answer any questions you might have.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Just watched S3, E1. I figured it was some kind of alternate reality based on the Martha that shows up while Martha is dying at the end of S2 and says she’s not “his” Martha. Anyway, kind of fun to see all the alternate versions of everybody. Yeah, it’s all over the place but I’ll finish it.

Love to hear your thoughts. I enjoyed S3, E1. E2 - 6, not so much at all. It was around episode 6 my wife and I considered not finishing the series. Thankfully episode 7 and 8 are closer to a return to form.

I guess if I knew that they were making a Season 4 when I was watching it, I probably wouldn't have finished Season 3. So maybe it isn't apples to apples. I mean I have quit shows that I thought were getting bad, but not that close to an "ending."

You're going to miss when they're in a space colony on Neptune.
I am extremely happy I quit Homeland when I did (despite it having one of the best single seasons of TV I have ever seen). I am happy I quit Shameless when I did. I am happy I quit 24 when I did. I wish I only watch 2-3 season of Dexter. Probably should have quit Walking Dead a couple seasons earlier.

Nope. I have heard good things, but I only get to watch maybe 7 or 8 seasons of TV each year with my wife. And maybe 2 to 3 on my own. She wouldn't enjoy The Expanse, so I would have to work that into my 2-3 per year. And it already has 5 or 6 season, right?
there is just so much good TV to watch. And I am so far behind on movies. We did a family Marvel watch when Covid first started, and we got through all of the ones worth watching. Other than that, I don't think I have 10 movies in the past 2 years.

Really getting convoluted with the different worlds and times. I don't try too hard to put it all together though. Thanks to you guys, I knew what to expect. Just try to enjoy the interactions between the characters. Tough to make any sense out of two characters being the mother of each other. It was cool seeing Katharina go back in time and find the older Ulrich.
Yeah, it's just too much all over the place. Hate that sound effect and camera effect that's constantly jumping from time to time. I don't think I mentioned the three generations of cleft lipped fellow that like to hang around each other and the middle one does all the killing with his wire. Those guys came out of nowhere in S3. I also haven't mentioned it but find it strange that they use English spoken music throughout the series. So, other world Martha and this world Jonas finally had sex and an offspring is on the way which is apparently the origin of everything. OK. I'm pretty sure they're just making up stuff as they go along. I find it hard to believe this was all planned out from the beginning of the series but maybe.

Agree. It was like, we're obligated to make a full 3rd season. Let's just come up with random stuff and jump from timeline to timeline to try to band-aid plot holes. It just creates useless jumping around, really weird sub plots and a lot of loose ends. I'm glad I watched the last 2 episodes but the rest of season 3 I could completely do without. Which is a shame considering how masterfully good season 1 is and even season 2 is quite enjoyable.

Checking in Bone with hopes you've watched more and can give some new feedback!

I started S3 E7 last night where it appears things are starting to come together. I'll give my final feedback after I finish the season.

It seems like everybody is lying to each other so I have no idea what the ideal outcome would be or what everybody should be doing. You would think it would involve not having an apocalypse! It was tough seeing many main characters killed including Jonas, Marta, and the deaf girl's father but of course that doesn't mean anything in this series. Apparently they are just one of many timelines possible in each world. We're getting into Doctor Strange territory here.
It ends like a 1980s comedy. Kinda weird. I’m talking about the final dinner scene and then the synth heavy, upbeat ending credit music. Before that, they seemed to wrap the series up pretty well. Not sure why there will be another season. It would have to be totally different, I’d think.
I guess all the main characters don’t even exist anymore. And why did just the people disappear? Didn’t they say the whole worlds wouldn’t exist anymore? Shouldn’t the other two worlds totally disappear as well?
Anyway, I don’t think I hate S2 and S3 like many of you. Maybe because I knew what to expect because of you. A paradox if you will. It does all kind of make sense after watching to the end. But it certainly did get…wait for it…Dark.
