Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is so crazy with its details. A lot of random minor characters change their behavior in subtle ways because of the time of day, the weather, and other surrounding factors. One example:

Anyone have mobile game recommendations? I have some long travel days coming up and am looking for something to do besides read as I'm not bringing along a laptop. I don't play any mobile games now so anything is on the table, but preferably something I can enjoy that doesn't require being connected to the internet.

Slay the Spire is the best mobile game. Period.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I’ll check it out.

Edit: Checked it out on their site. It’s a card game/fighting game. I’m not into card games. I like PVP and action.

For the record, I'm not into card games either. For some reason StS has me hooked.

Let me know what you think…. I’m loving it. The more I play it, the more mechanics I find to it. It’s extremely deep. It has new game plus so I’m skipping side quests till my next go around since all your skills/level carry over (it’s the only thing that Carrie’s over) and right now I’m at the part of the story where I can see where the replay ability is going to be amazing. Don’t want to spoil it, but it’s genius.

I got addicted to Vampire Survivors some months ago, and I found that Brotato is a game that brings a similar gameplay style and feel. Having fun with that one right now. I am also playing this cracked out platformer named Pizza Tower. Very weird MS Paint-looking art style and fast Sonic-ish gameplay. That plus my usual Rocket League and occasional StarCraft 2.

I have also been really enjoying Sea of Stars, an indie JRPG heavily inspired by Chrono Trigger on the SNES. That and Octopath Traveler 2. My wife bought us Super Mario Wonder and I'll be trying that out this weekend.

Good stuff Marty…. Sea of stars is on my list and love the old school rpg vibe it has.

I’ve finished starfield about 5-6 times now…. Highly recommend and decent for someone with kiddos since you can save anytime.

Been playing the latest Diablo 4 season…. It’s really good and about to max out my sorcerer in about a weeks worth of play. The grind is far better and rewarding all the way through.

After this last seasons dbacks run I’ve started to hunger for some baseball. Thinking about starting a franchise on mlb the show 23… figured I’d help support bones retirement. 😉

LOL! Brotato is great, as is Pizza Tower. Pizza Tower is like some of the Wario 2D classics. If you like Brotato, Enter the Gungeon will surely scratch your itch. As will Nuclear Throne. Vampire Survivors is great. If you want something very similar but much more modern than Vampire Survivors, check out Deep Rock Galactic Survivor on Steam. There is a free demo which is basically just the pre-release version of the near full game.
