Another interesting article.

How Google Could Rig the 2016 Election
Google has the ability to drive millions of votes to a candidate with no one the wiser.

There are at least three very real scenarios whereby Google—perhaps even without its leaders’ knowledge—could shape or even decide the election next year. Whether or not Google executives see it this way, the employees who constantly adjust the search giant’s algorithms are manipulating people every minute of every day. The adjustments they make increasingly influence our thinking—including, it turns out, our voting preferences.

An article talking about how many people are going to vote for Trump out of protest.

Meet the people who despise Donald Trump so much that they plan to vote for him — just to send America a message.
http://www.politico.com/story/2015/09/d ... ain-213247

They think Donald Trump’s ideas are “disgusting.” They think he is making a mockery of the American political system and that even he doesn’t take his own candidacy seriously. And that is exactly why they say they plan to vote for him.

Watching CNN. Lindsay Grahm is on asking for FEMA money for his state because of the flooding. Wolf Blitzer asks him why he voted against FEMA funds for New Jersey after their hurricane. His response was basically "Did I? I don't recall that vote. I'll have to look it up. I must have had a good reason."

I remember that vote like it was yesterday. It was the Presidential election run up. Romney had just got done proclaiming that if elected he would eliminate FEMA latching onto the anti government everything sentiment and that became the official Republican stance. The hurricane hit, Republican Governor Christy asked for FEMA funds. The Republicans trying to get Romney elected had to back Romney's stance and voted no to FEMA funds for New Jersey. That angered Christy and he chastised the Republican Party for stabbing him in the back. Christy asked Obama for help and he did. That angered the Republican Party and they black balled Christy for all their reindeer games for a long time to punish him.

To see Lindsay Grahm now ask for FEMA help and then to have Wolf Blitzer bust his balls on his vote against FEMA funds for NJ was priceless. Seeing Lindsay Grahm pretend to not recall ever voting against FEMA funds for NY was just par for the course.

I don't really want to get involved in a debate about partisan issues, because I see it as futile and unimportant. But I think this message probably belongs here.

I'd like to explain the difference between "Social Democrat" Bernie Sander, "Socialism," and "Republicans," as I see it, in the simplest way I possibly can.

SOCIAL DEMOCRATS want our elected representatives to defend and work towards making sure the working class receives their fair share, in order to stabilize or strengthen the economy, and because it is the moral thing for a society to do.

SOCIALISTS want the Government to control businesses and the workers, because they want to have strict control over the economy.

REPUBLICANS want big business to control the Government, because they believe that only strong business can create a strong economy.
Forcing me to conform to your beliefs is an exercise in futility.
You deal with you, because you can't stop me from being me.
