I know they packed in stuff with the infrastructure bill like child care for working women and that seems like something where they do care. Going green seems like they care. Obamacare was them caring about those Americans without health care. I would be interested in knowing what the other bad stuff was showing they don’t care was.

If you think 3.5 trillion dollars is being spent in good will and that liberals are honest people not influenced by lobbyists and deals that they make on the side to sway their votes, I don’t know how to change your opinion on that.

You didn’t answer my question at all. You just said you don’t trust Democrats so, they must be doing something bad, which is the same as Trump saying the election was stolen. Both statements aren’t based on any facts. It’s based on your general opinion of Dem politicians. So you don’t actually know what was in the bill at all.

A lot of it was not even disclosed. Most of congress doesn’t even read the bills. They basically say vote now and read later. Actually I’m almost positive Pelosi has said that before.

If you believe they are in it to help you, have I got some snake oil for you.

Democrats pretend they give a damn about healthcare workers. Where the fuck is my hazard pay? How about some medicolegal protections if I make an honest mistake because we’re working under ridiculous conditions? How about something for my family in case I get sick?

I don’t know everything that was in it. You said it was filled with BS so, I asked you to fill me in. You obviously don’t know either but, are sure it’s all BS. Ok, thanks for the info.

Dems don’t care about you because they didn’t give you hazard pay? Shouldn’t that be your employers responsibility? Something for your family if you die? It’s called life insurance. If Dems did what you said it would be labelled Socialism and they would be crucified. How would they accomplish that? Just make it happen? They can’t even get the stuff they really want passed. I respect your profession and you guys are working under stressful conditions. Everyone working is at risk. The leading cause of death in the police is Covid. We all need hazard pay if we are working. The band I am in is on it’s second round of Covid. We could just choose to stay home and not work for several years and be safe but, that isn’t very feasible. We all choose our profession and all that comes with it. Becoming a soldier is inherently dangerous and they do get hazard pay depending on their assignments. You saying Dems don’t care about you because they didn’t give you hazard pay and built in life insurance isn’t being very fair. Cons didn’t give you any of that either.
