It looks like another radical right-winger was caught trying to go after Obama.

MAGA Trumper

Utah man suspected of threatening President Joe Biden shot and killed as FBI served warrant

PROVO, Utah (AP) — An armed Utah man accused of making violent threats against President Joe Biden was shot and killed by FBI agents hours before the president landed in the state Wednesday, authorities said.

Robertson posted online Monday that he had heard Biden was coming to Utah and he was planning to dig out a camouflage suit and begin “cleaning the dust off the M24 sniper rifle,” a post that came after months of graphic online threats against several public figures, according to court documents. Robertson referred to himself as a “MAGA Trumper,” a reference to former President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” slogan, and also posted threats against top law enforcement officials overseeing court cases against Trump.

There's going to be a major political assassination in the next few years, it's just bound to happen. Probably inspired by garbage media riling people up into a violent frenzy.

That joke goes a bit too far to me. I don't like even joking about killing or assassinating somebody.

This post has nothing to do with domestic terrorism. I saw no thread that it applied to so this was the closest and I went with it. Maybe there should be a Police thread but there isn’t. As we all know there is an issue between the police and America trusting the police. There have been several high profile incidents where the police have killed suspects in custody in vicious cruel ways and it has hurt the public’s trust in them. It is a huge political topic. Who supports them and who wants to defund them. The left wing extreme wants to punish the police by defunding them. The moderate Dems thinks that’s a dumb idea. The right claims to support the police but they didn’t seem to be supporting the police on Jan 6 and the extreme right has talked about defunding the FBI when they raided Trump. Both political party’s have tried to use the issue to hurt each other of course and the Republican probably have the edge in that battle with some Dems calling for defunding.

That brings me to the article I just read about the mayor of Los Angeles. She is a black female democrat. The police were against her in the election because she was a Dem and they assumed she was against them and wanted to defund the police. She was elected and instead of defunding the police she wanted to raise their budget, is hiring a bunch more officers and wants to give them all a raise. Not what they were expecting.

LA police campaigned against Karen Bass. Now she wants to give them a raise.
In an interview, Bass said it should be no surprise she backs a bigger, better paid police force.

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles police union spent millions of dollars trying to quash Karen Bass’ mayoral bid. It’s a different story now, halfway into her first year in office.

In the span of a few months, Bass has called for adding hundreds of officers to the Los Angeles Police Department and boosted their pay with a new contract deal she struck with the union.…

Something that came to light reading that 'Dack... Just imagine had they not wasted so much money to campaign against her and where that money could have gone. Just depressing all the money spent just for political power.

Jacksonville had a mass shooting. It sounds like it was motivated by racism, as the killer targeted black victims and left a racist manifesto. He used a glock and an AR-15, and he had a swastika drawn on his gun.

Tragic situation unfolded today at UNC campus. Active shooter / assailant was on campus; they shut the whole place down and put it into a lockdown. There was a standoff with law enforcement, ending in the death of a faculty member. Oof.

Imagine being these kids stuck in their classrooms as cops with machine guns hunt down a psycho with a machine gun, murdering people on their college campus.

If all the students brought assault rifles to school this wouldn’t have happened. It’s their fault.

I read that the local elementary schools also chose to shelter in place to try to keep the kids away from this shooter. This was the first day of school. So kids in kindergarten were treated to this as their very first school experience.
