In2ition, who's your avatar? I've meant to ask for ages. It's kind of cool!

It's All-American Boy from the movie Sky High. If you haven't seen it or heard of it, it's a 2005 American superhero comedy film about an airborne high school for teenage superheroes. It was directed by Mike Mitchell and written by Paul Hernandez and Kim Possible creators Robert Schooley and Mark McCorkle. The film stars Michael Angarano, Danielle Panabaker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kelly Preston and Kurt Russell. It tells the story about the son of two superheroes who is enrolled in a superhero school where his powers kick in.

I saw that movie for the first time a year or so ago and went. “That’s in2ition’s avatar!”

Lol. I thought it was a funny movie and he was such a niche and minor character, which was perfect for my avatar.

I think the result of the current GOP infighting will be that the Trump wing pushes all the others out. Folks who explicitly oppose Trump or speak out against him will be primaried and ostracized from the GOP apparatus. This will probably be effective in the short-term and the opposition will generally fail to overcome this. I don't think McConnell will be explicitly defeated politically, but he's quite old, so I suspect he'll retire after his current term (or, more likely, die of natural causes while in office). But I think the Trumpy wing of the GOP won't necessarily have the votes and support to win elections outside of deep-red states going forward. I don't think Trump would win if he ran for President in 2024. And most of Trump's acolytes or hand-picked successors will be correctly seen as pale imitations.

BTW, I want to go on record as predicting that the 2024 GOP nominee for President will be Ron DeSantis.
