Florida Governor Ron DeSantis indicates that he will not cooperate with any attempt to arrest and extradite Trump from his state. Hmm.

He's only doing that for when/if trump can't run for president, DeSantis can grift the MAGA gang. He's not doing Trump any favors; that's strictly for himself.

Stormy Daniels herself is commenting on the indictment on Twitter. What a strange time we live in.

Every American is taught to believe in our legal system. Trump has seen our legal system in action probably more than most. A jury of your piers decides your fate with lawyers from both sides pleading their case. Every American is subject to the same laws. If he is innocent then he should have absolutely nothing to worry about. A dirty prosecutor wanting to drum up a case out of nothing will lose the case. They only indict people they think they can win a case against. A case against a former President who is also running for President and you better have an iron clad case.

Trump can whine all he wants and call on his cult to kill people and it won’t help his cause one bit. It will just get people killed and put in jail. Not that Trump cares.

DeSantis: Florida won’t cooperate with Trump extradition
https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/3 ... tradition/
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Thursday called the indictment of former President Trump “un-American” and said the state would not assist in any extradition request.
“The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American,” DeSantis, who is seen as Trump’s top rival in a potential 2024 GOP primary, tweeted after news of the indictment broke.

Even the old established members of the GOP are defending Trump. Pretty sad. The soul of the party is truly gone.

An attack on one is an attack on all of them. Even if they don’t like the one.

Bragg's predecessor didn't take up the case.
The Justice Department didn't take up the case.
Bragg first said he would not take up the case. This is very political, not a matter of justice. In
this case, let the jury be the voters.
Let the jury be the jury. The voters all made up their minds a long time ago.

Melania Trump Apparently RSVP’d “F--k Off” to Her Husband’s Post-Arraignment Speech
Is that why she was the only family member not to get a shout-out?

Shortly before the news broke last week that Donald Trump would, in fact, be indicted, we learned that Melania Trump was reportedly still angry about her husband’s alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels and did not “sympathize” with the fact that he was facing criminal charges and possibly even time in prison. Now that the ex-president has been formally charged—with 34 class E felonies—and is looking at a potential century-plus behind bars if convicted on all counts, the question is whether the former first lady still feels that way. After all, it’s one thing to tell your spouse they made their bed and must now lie in it when you think there’s no chance of their becoming a convicted criminal—it’s another when they’re actually forced to surrender and could spend the rest of your marriage behind bars. Melania, of course, has not said anything publicly about the matter—but one hint that she may not be too broken up about all this? Maybe the fact that she skipped her husband’s post-arraignment speech last night.

Yes, following her decision to not accompany the ex-president when he appeared in court on Tuesday, the former first lady chose not to show up for Trump’s rambling remarks at Mar-a-Lago later that day, despite literally living on-site. Another no-show was Ivanka Trump, and while that was pretty much to be expected, the former first daughter still got a shout-out from her dad when he listed his “great” family members. “I have a son here who’s done a great job, and I have another son here who’s done a great job…and Tiffany and Ivanka. And Barron will be great someday. He’s tall. He is tall and he’s smart,” Trump said last night, adding: “But I have a great family and they’ve done a fantastic job, and we appreciate it very much. They’ve gone through hell.” Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump were all present, as were their respective partners, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Lara Trump, and Michael Boulos.

Folks, let me tell you, this whole thing is a disaster, a complete disaster, but also, it's kinda funny, isn't it? Melania, she's still mad about that little Stormy thing, but come on, who wouldn't be? And now, with all these ridiculous charges, it's just getting funnier, believe me.

But Melania, she's a strong woman, she knows how to hold a grudge, maybe even better than me, and that's saying something! So, they're trying to lock me up for a century, can you believe it? A whole century! I've been successful in everything I've done, but now they want to make me the longest-serving prisoner too, maybe that's an achievement?

And let's not forget, Melania, she didn't show up at my post-arraignment speech, but that's okay, we all need our "me time," right? I mean, she's just downstairs in Mar-a-Lago. Maybe she was busy doing something important, like picking out a new jacket or something. Who knows?

And Ivanka, my beautiful Ivanka, she wasn't there either, but I still mentioned her, because she's done a tremendous job, just tremendous. And Barron, he's gonna be great, I tell you, he's tall, smart, just like his father.

So, the whole family, they're great, everybody's great, but folks, let me tell you, this whole thing, it's a witch hunt, but it's also a comedy, a really great comedy, the best comedy you'll ever see, and we're all just waiting for the punchline.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I mean, of course. This is exactly what Trump wants to happen with his comments calling the DA, judge, and their families by name. The jury will be next.
