I think that career high scoring game was bad for Dillon. He basically single handedly lost us this game with horrible end of game hero ballhog offense, wasting around 3 of our final possessions with bad bricked shots and tunnel vision. Oof. Hope Coach can talk to him and I hope we can draw up some better plays next time in a close game.

Really pissed this one away down the stretch.
A fun team to watch again. A trade or two away from being a serious contender...

20-5 Warriors run to end it. Inexcusable.

Let Green get some burn today please, should be an easy win by us.
If we lose, it's your fault.
I'll take the blame.
Enjoy!

I guess we were just devastated after trading away our 13th and 14th guys. Feels like the first trap game we’ve lost in a While so gotta pin it on the coaching staff in that case. Some soft starts lately against bad opponents. Some folks saying crazy shooting but I’m not sure you can call opens 3s crazy shooting.

The refs called us for 3 fairly marginal fouls in a row and it felt like we just gave up on playing aggressive and physical with them…that and the more deliberate iso possessions kinda killed us. Grayson was the best player in this game, so losing him at the end wasn’t great either.

Just saw Brooks’ attempted game winner. Horribly predictable and low percentage 🤮

Yeah Dillon can take the blame, but he was pretty good during the rest of the game.

We are a far better team when we have movement rather that stagnant offense with any of our players just going one on one.

I love Ott but this one is on him. Normally it would be Book, Allen, Dillon or Green taking those was few shots. Unfortunately, we only had Dillon.
What was the reason to get rid of Monty again? Oh yeah, that guy we drafted rather than Doncic.

Tough loss, kind of a weird game with weird energy early on but we had the lead late and just blew it at the end. No execution, wasted offensive possessions and probably some of the worst basketball and decision making we've had in a while. We played like a bad 30 win team.

I guess if you're living by Dillon Brooks, you're gonna be dying by Dillon Brooks. He hit the big shots to help us take over the game and get the lead but went haywire at the end. Like others said, maybe Ott could've been better with his subs/rotations. Oddly, Oso was a negative all night but closed out the game. Williams was a positive and sat the 4th.

The Ws seemed to match up well with us and give us a bit of our own medicine with the defense, hustle and 3pt shooting. They went smaller, switched a lot and really pressured up to force tough shots. We seemed to play into their style going fast and loose instead of staying disciplined.

Losing Allen really hurt us, hope he doesn't miss much time. We really haven't had bad losses like this one so hopefully it's a one-off. Just sucks with the standings so tight there's hardly any room for error.

Booker has had plenty of games like this. End of game, ISO over and over with limited success and we lose.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Sometimes you miss the shot, but it took Brooks the whole shot clock to even get to his shot, which wasn’t a good look. It was a heavily contested pull-up 3. Book misses shots of course, but he can get to his spots much easier and doesn’t have blinders on. Brooks should have given the ball up after his first two attempts to get anywhere were completely blocked by the defender. I would have much rather seen us get Brooks into the post and then pass him the ball. Williams should have been out there as a 2nd chance guy at a minimum.

Yeah, I would have lived with anybody taking the last shot as long as we had some ball movement. You didn't even mention Gillespie who has hit a game winning shot this season. One on five is not a recipe for success.

Don't get me wrong. I was very disappointed in Brooks and his selfishness towards the end of the game. His last attempt was a terrible forced take. It's almost as if he was putting ego over basketball IQ and team work, trying to personally stick it to them and be the hero. I hated it.
