Too ball dominant for my tastes. If he's going to be the focal point of your team, sure.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Yea I was referencing his comments in the press conference with us when he was asked how his shot been coming and if he feels he will be comfortable in mid-range.UglyTruth wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 4:32 pmAre you talking about Bamba?bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 1:27 pmAfter seeing his interview and it being clear as day how smart the kid is I'm not even surprised.
He specifically pin pointed what necessary tweaks he wanted to make to his shot as soon as the season was over so combining natural ability with brains n work ethic.....
Sure seems like his potential is through the roof

Maybe he was so ball dominant because his teammates sucked. He seems to have very good vision and passing instincts.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 6:50 pmToo ball dominant for my tastes. If he's going to be the focal point of your team, sure.

I'm super curious how his game is going to translate to the NBA.Cap wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 6:59 pmMaybe he was so ball dominant because his teammates sucked. I'm pretty sure that he would get more than 19 uncontested 3 pt attempts in a Suns uniform with Booker & Ayton on the floor with him. He might get more than that in the first 2 weeks.Superbone wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 7:01 pmI'm super curious how his game is going to translate to the NBA.Cap wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 6:59 pmMaybe he was so ball dominant because his teammates sucked. I like Trae Young. I'd be open to trading up for him and saying "to hell with the defense."

Except that we are due to hear”I told you so” histories no matter who we pick.AmareIsGod wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 5:08 pmI'm not going to complain if we draft Ayton or Doncic. Bamba wouldn't bother me either. It's a good time to be a Suns fan but instead we're trying to cut each others throats while selling our Ayton, Doncic or whomever as the #1 pick. None of us knows until a year or two (or more) have passed after this draft. And one player might have fit better with one team vs. another so really, the stars have to align perfectly. There is no right or wrong choice with the number one pick as long as it's one of the potential top 3 or 4 we're all on board with.

Half the defense and double the offense.

Since day 1 I wanted Doncic and to try to sign Capela, hasn't changed. More than fine with Ayton though, I can't imagine him not being at least a 20/10 guy, if he ends up defending then we will just fine.
Love, Hurts.

There has been questions about if he would be able to get his 3 off in the NBA because even though he has a quick release, it's a very low release and many think it can get blocked easily at the NBA level.In2ition wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 7:08 pmI'm pretty sure that he would get more than 19 uncontested 3 pt attempts in a Suns uniform with Booker & Ayton on the floor with him. If he's a truly great shooter though, he will make the right adjustments and it won't be an issue.
